6 years later… still you. 💘

We done been through different seasons, different struggles, different versions of ourselves, and somehow we still keep choosing each other. That’s what makes this love different. It ain’t always been perfect, but it’s always been real.

I watched you become my girlfriend, my best friend, my wife, and now the mother of our sons. 🥹❤️ I’d choose you in every lifetime.

these last 2 months have been the most chaotic but the most beautiful😅. gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, moved from one far from home city to another far from home city (but at least we have a CFA in town!), sold our first home, lived in a hotel for 2 weeks while breastfeeding and potty training, bought our second home, developed my frontal lobe (turned 25), and spent so so soooo much time with loved ones. was i stressed? absolutely. was it worth it? absolutely. taken in Wyoming, USA by @laniyahkey

Look at you, baby boy — one whole year old,
From tiny lil’ toes to a heart made of gold.
You came through shining, a gift straight divine,
A blessing from God, our stars did align.

We prayed on you, dreamed on you, hoped you’d be near,
Then boom, you were here, and the world got clear.
Your smile, that giggle, that rich melanin glow,
Got the whole room warmin’ — just so you know.

From bottles to bibs, from crawling to stands,
You keep us on ten, got us clappin’ our hands.
Your laugh is a rhythm, your steps a whole beat,
You got mamagirl dancin’, and the Murray boys on their feet.

We read you those stories, we sing you those songs,
We cover you in prayers all the night long.
You come from a people, from kings and from queens,
With dreams in your blood and strength in your genes.
