Living with anxiety and depression is like riding a roller coaster… full of ups and downs! 🎢

✨🥀 Often the root comes from our past just like Paul’s “thorn in the flesh”. I’ve tried fasting, praying, and wrestling with God, but it still hovers, waiting for me.

During the lows, praying feels impossible but that’s exactly why it’s important✨🌹

Don’t try to numb it by dissociating or escaping into your head. Instead, bring it to God. Focus on Him, on the day ahead, and on the goals you’ve set. 🫶🏽

✨Steps for healing:

1. Acknowledge it: ⛈️ name the anxiety or depression and be honest with God about it.

2. Pray DAILY: ☁️ even if it’s just a few words, keep bringing it to Him. Prayer is your daily medicine!

3. Set small goals: ⛅️ focus on one task or positive action each day.

4. Stay forward-focused: 🌤️ remind yourself that the past doesn’t define you; God’s plans are ahead.

☀️ It’s a journey, but when you keep your eyes on God and the path He’s leading you, you start to feel grounded, even in the the storm✨ by @lanmonique

He quoted one scripture and I was like
“This my kingdom man.”

Holy Spirit: “Girl he pulled that off a meme.”

When you put God first everything else aligns. A sound mind, a full heart, and peace that hits different. Jesus stays at the center always✨🙏🏾
