Today is day 70 in my recovery. I questioned whether I should start with: today is day 1 in my recovery. I guess it's a state of mind how to remain positive when each day is a struggle. Day 1 hiking into the mountains. Learned about the Levada, a 2000km water irrigation system built over the centuries to capture water and use it as electricity, drinking water and agricultural irrigation throughout the island. The tunnel was built over 14 years by manual labour in the mid 1800's. It measures 800 meters. A.ma.zing.
