Reminiscing and reflecting on when my ankles were sturdy just a few days ago 😭 No but seriously, Friday night was a major success and I’m beyond grateful to @her_rhawness and @djdreason for extending the invitation to me. Each performance I get stronger and more connected with my community. I look forward to the next! In the meantime I’ll be healing up and preparing for the next release 👀🥰 Thank you to everyone who came out and supported me! It’s means the world to me✨🫶🏾 If you weren’t, they’ll be more clips of the performance to share this week for your enjoyment💫 #dcmusic #dmvrnb #dmvmusic #firestation1 #indieartists by @lanorewenze
Five slides because I looked cute, and sometimes you need a little reminder of yourself. 💚 Taking that energy into Friday, when I’m back at Firestation 1 for The Frequency: Halloween Edition, presented and headlined by @her_rhawness! A little Jazmine. A little Alicia. And something unreleased from me that I can’t wait for you to hear. 👀🎤 Come dressed up, bring your people, and spend the evening with us. 📍 Firestation 1 | Silver Spring, MD 🗓 Friday, October 30 🎟 Tickets in my bio and Stories! And tomorrow’s WENZEday? A little reflection on learning to give myself credit while I’m still growing. Maybe you need that reminder, too. 💚 #LanoreWenze #TheFrequency #DMVLiveMusic #NeoSoul #SilverSpring by @lanorewenze

A lil ATL, a lil food, a lot of celebrating, and a hell of a great time🥰💫 by @lanorewenze
The biggest room in the world, is the room for improvement. I’m grateful to simply be in the room…to be in that number of individuals going for their dreams fervently. Fears and all! Friday was one for the books and there are SO MANY more to come. To @djdreason THANK YOU for this opportunity! To the @thunderboyzpro you all are nothing SHORT of amazing musicians! To @djgracious you made sure the tracks were where they needed to be which was a perfect cherry on top. To my line sister @mssouthernbelle5 who spoke my name in a room when I wasn’t present! To my cousin @norablakesmith behind the cam & always in my ear cheering me on! To my friends who showed UP, purchased a ticket and said a prayer!!! To God, the Almighty!!! Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU!!! My gratitude for you all and to you all is immense. I truly will not forget the kindness, love, & support that has been extended to me. We’ve only just begun and it’s feeling me ME Szn🤩🥰🙌🏾 #helovesme #jillscott #dmvrnb #dcmusic #dcartist by @lanorewenze
FRIDAY NIGHT. COME HEAR ME SING. 🖤 I’ve been so busy being a teacher, and doing about 50’lem things at once 😂 that I haven’t promoted this show nearly as much as I wanted to. So let me fix that. 👀 This Friday, August 28th, I’ll be taking the stage at Fire Station 1 in Silver Spring for an intimate R&B live performance with Exie J & Thunderboy Pro. If you’ve been telling me you want to hear me perform live… this is your invitation. Come hear the songs. Come catch a vibe. Come support a woman who’s been building this thing one stage at a time. 🖤 🎟️ Tickets are only $20 📍 Fire Station 1 | 8131 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 🕙 Doors open at 10PM I want to see YOUR face in the room. Grab your ticket now [bio] — and send this to somebody who needs a Friday night out. ✨ Friday. August 28th. We outside. #dcartists #RnBLive #DMVMusic #SilverSpringMD #LiveMusic by @lanorewenze
SWIPE RIGHT— When I wrote Going Crazy, I was initially writing about heartbreak. However, it shifted to being about a decision. The moment when your mind starts replaying everything… - The text you never got. - The conversation you wish had gone differently. - The closure you’re still waiting for. We’ve all been there. However, what if that’s also the moment where everything can change? You ask yourself, what it would look like to fully choose me? - What if you stopped waiting? - What if you removed their access to your peace? - What if you gave yourself the closure you keep hoping someone else will deliver? Going Crazy was never about losing yourself. It’s about the exact moment you decide NOT to. If you’ve been streaming this song, thank you. 💚💫 Every listen means more than you know, and I hope it reminds you that choosing yourself is never the wrong decision. A question worth sitting with: • What does choosing yourself look like in this season of your life? I’d love to read your answer.✅ #newindiemusic #dcartist #independentartist #choosingyourself #dmvmusicscene by @lanorewenze
If you found me through the Boule series– Welcome. 💚 I’m so happy you’re here. You may have come for the OOTDs, but you’re about to discover what this page has always been about. I’m a singer. A painter. A writer. An educator. But more than anything—I’m a documentarian of beauty. Whether it’s music, teaching, writing, or painting, I’ve realized the thread connecting everything I do is helping people notice the beauty that’s already around them. This Vegas reel feels like the beginning of that next chapter. So if you’re new here, welcome to one of your favorite corners of the internet—a place where we slow down, notice the details, and find inspiration in ordinary moments. Teacher by day. Artist by life💫 Now I want to know.—What’s something ordinary that you always stop to notice, but most people walk right past? Mine? Light and architecture. Every. Single. Time✨ #DCCreatives #DCArtists #CreativeLife #DocumentingBeauty #TeacherByDayArtistByLife by @lanorewenze
