Laobodian Co. started with my twins 🩷🩵 When I had my twins, I wanted to create something that represented both sides of their cultural identity. Something that brought Lao and Cambodian together without having to choose one over the other. That’s where the idea of Laobodian Co. came from 🇱🇦🇰🇭 I’ve always loved fashion and streetwear, and I wanted to find something that combined both cultures with that style. I remember looking around and not really finding what I had in mind, so I thought why not create it myself? I wanted to make everyday pieces that were simple, comfortable, and easy to style, but still had meaning behind them. What started as an idea inspired by my babies has slowly turned into something I’m genuinely proud of. I’m still learning as I go, figuring out what works, what doesn’t, and what direction I want to take this brand. There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes, and honestly it’s not always easy balancing everything. But I have so many ideas for Laobodian Co., and I’m excited to see where I can take it. My hope is to create something that my children can grow up wearing, but also something that other families and people in our community can connect with and feel proud of. We don’t have to choose. We get to embrace both. Thank you to everyone who’s been supporting this little brand of mine! It means more than you know 🫂🤍 #Laobodian #Lao #Cambodian #Streetwear #Everydaywear by @laobodianco
Some people grow up knowing exactly where they belong. Some of us grow up learning two languages, two traditions, two ways of seeing the world. Our children are growing up with something even more beautiful. They aren’t just Lao. They aren’t just Cambodian. They carry pieces of both of us, our families, our stories, and our history. For a long time, being “in between” felt like something that needed an explanation. But the older I get, the more I realize it isn’t something to explain - it’s something to celebrate. That’s why I started Laobodian Co. Not just to make clothing, but to create something my kids can look at one day and say, “This was made for people like us.” We don’t have to choose one side over the other. We don’t have to make ourselves smaller to fit into one box. We get to embrace both. #laobodianco #lao #cambodian #asianamerican #streetwear by @laobodianco
My tiny Laobodians 🤍 Tried the first version on them and instantly had ideas on how to make it even better. Next round, the placement is getting adjusted just a little — details matter to me. But seeing them in this? Yeah… this is why I started. 🥹 #LAOBODIAN #Laos #Khmer #MixedCulture #SoutheastAsian by @laobodianco
Inspired by the Mekong River, connecting Laos and Cambodia through culture, history, and shared roots. A little piece of our heritage, made to be worn. LAOBODIAN CO. — MADE TO REPRESENT BOTH. Coming soon.. #LaobodianCo #Laobodian #Lao #Cambodian #MekongRiver by @laobodianco

Growing up Asian, sometimes you just wanted to be like everybody else. Now? I wouldn’t trade the food, the traditions, the family, or the culture for anything! #Laobodian #Lao #Cambodian #Relatable #Quotes by @laobodianco
