Feeling beyond grateful. Thank you @imaginenative for premiering Run As One. Being able to attend the largest Indigenous centred film festival in the world as a filmmaker was surreal to say the least - it is truly an experience I’ll never forget. Thank to everyone who has supported this film and who came out on the day. Thank you @amber.ranville for having me as your DOP. And thank you to the rest of the crew for bringing this film together. This festival is full of so much care, culture, and incredibly talented individuals - I am forever humbled and full of love for this experience🧡 by @laoises.lens
Stills from the Run As One documentary that I shot for @amber.ranville this October! Working on this film was such a pleasure and I feel so proud of this work. Thank you to the amazing team of this film for helping it all come together and to Eroll Ranville for talking about his experience as an indigenous artist and sharing an important message. #dop #cinematography #documentary by @laoises.lens

A few days in Italy documented on JVC camcorder :) by @laoises.lens
Recently I have found myself travelling by myself often. And as much as I would like to, I don’t always have my camera with me. Travelling with my thoughts and observations to myself through different places has brought me to rekindle an appreciation for life that I had almost become out of touch with. So I have started to take out whatever I have with me that can film something, even if it is my phone - and film something I’m observing or admiring. By doing this, I have relearned that not everything has to be “cinematic” or “breathtaking quality” to be beautiful. Life itself is beautiful and so is capturing a memory, even if it’s just on your phone. So these are just a few small clips of moments where I recently felt lost in observation and admiration, and used my phone to make sure I captured the moment physically. I heard this quote and it inspired me to add them all together this way. #film #explorepage #cinematic #quote #demolitionmovie #cinematography by @laoises.lens
