GIBB RIVER ROAD DAYS 3-5
After a night at March Fly Glen we headed onwards East to Manning Gorge Campground/Mt Barnett Station.
Stopped off at Adcock Gorge on the way and spent the next 2 nights exploring Manning and Galvan’s Gorge.

Kids did so well on the Manning hike and stopped to appreciate the scenery with a few sketches along the way ✍️.

Mt Barnett Roadhouse burger was a 9/10 😋

GRR Day 2 Lennard River Free Camp —> March Fly Glen

Pulled up at March Fly Glen before lunch so we fuelled our bodies, unhitched and headed out to Bell Gorge.

Spectacular scenery, water crossings and a beautiful waterfall at the end!

You can hang up the top of the falls or head across and scale the rocks down to the base.

2025 Wrapped
What a year we’ve had.
This life is something incredible 💫
As we role in to 2026, our van is sold and on to its new family, we’re off to a remote island and we’re planning the next adventures already 😉

Day 1: Birdwood Downs Station -> Lenard River Free Camp

Dimalurru (Tunnel Creek) & Windjana Gorge

We pulled up at camp and got straight into the gorges - first up, Dimalurru (Tunnel Creek).
A fresh plunge to get the walk started in the dark and keen eyes looking out for crocs 🐊
We only spotted 1 on the way back (but before having to plunge chest-deep into the water again 🫠).

Next up was Windjana Gorge for sunset. This was an incredible time to visit as the rocks lit up like they were filled with lava- it was absolutely stunning 😍

A fun trip back to camp and we finished off day one.

What a great place to stay!
So much to do around this station - fishing, exploring, delicious food and sunset sessions.
Combine this with awesome mates and we had ourselves an amazing 4 days!

Be sure to visit @pardoostationwa on your next trip up north! Wagyu steaks and seafood night are a must!

Running Waters / Eel Pool

We took a day trip to explore Running Waters.
The drive in was wet and bumpy so we abandoned the cars and set off on foot instead.
The water was warm, the scenery peaceful and a rope swing thrown in for good fun.

You can camp here too- up at the start of the track or down by the pool.

What a spot! This free camp is something else.
Sunset set the gorge glowing 🌅
Camped by the river with fire, paddle boards to explore and awesome company, this was a cracker start to the next part of our lap.
