If you follow me for some time than you probably know or recognise my profile photo. A flower growing through a asphalt road. I took this photo about 5 or 6 years ago close to the entrance of Cubo de La Galga. And this photo perfectly reflects the power of nature (on La Palma). This beautiful photo made by @lapalmalover follower @pirineia_12 also shows the power and diversity of La Palma's nature. When looking at the soil in this photo, you might think that nothing will ever grow here. It looks lifeless and dry. Dead! Take something ordinary that is not very noticeable or remarkable, and turn it into something beautiful. Everywhere on La Palma you find mural painting and i think they are beautiful. Specifically, this cascading waterfall mural is painted on the public staircase that connects Calle José López with Calle El Pilar. The artwork was designed by artist Marta Roca as part of the city's "Santa Cruz, Capital del Color" urban regeneration project. Welcome to Parque Antonio Gomez Felipe located in Los LLanos and only 7 min walking from Plaza de España. Making friends on La Palma is easy. Just show some love and affection and the job is done. In this photo you see @lapalmalover follower @bjorn.martens and the photo was made by @lapalmalover follower @jokedebus This photo was made in Tazacorte and a few months ago my brother and his stayed at a B&B in Tazacorte and already on the first day his kids made friendship with a cat. They fed him everyday. And if i compare the cat on the photo he send me than, im pretty sure this is one and the same cat. If you follow LaPalmaLover for some time, than you know im very fond of those beautiful black ravens that you find mostly on Roque de los Muchachos and El Paso's higher area. They are also pretty bold and not shy at all. I even have stroke them a few times. I like birds and I like these ravens in particular. At the roundabout near Los Cancajos they have even placed 6 giant sculptures of ravens. Really beautiful. And somewhere else on La Palma, not sure where exactly, at another roundabout there is another giant sculpture of one wooden made raven. So I guess I'm not the only one loving these beautiful black feathered creatures. @lapalmalover follower @jokedebus also like them as you can see in this photo. Do you like them as well? Impressive! All I can say is Impressive. This photo made by @lapalmalover follower @kamilatigchelaar is in every way impressive and gives face to the disaster that started on September 19th 2021. So much was swallowed by the boiling lava running downwards and destroying everything on its path! Personally I think they should leave the car as it is as a reminder of the day the changed live on La Palma and for the Palmeros. Impressive.
