“She’s lucky that she Is cute” Is probably the phrase we use most when talking about Aspen.

Aspen is chaos in a fur coat. She will steal food out of your hand, run and punch you in the gut with her giant furry paws, head butt you when you lean down to give her pets, chomp in your face when you think you’re getting a kiss and wake you up by barking at all hours of the night.

Want your small child or grandmother to pet her? Think again, she will probably knock them over. Out on a neighborhood walk by our house? HA! She will bark until you are out of sight. Have to take her in the car somewhere? She will more than likely cause an accident.

But she makes us laugh every day and she will hug you with those big furry paws. Taking a nap on the couch? She will probably lay on top of you and nap as well. Maybe she will stop being such a pain in the a$$ now that she is 3? Probably not, but here’s hoping. So Happy Birthday Aspen, our lives wouldn’t be the same without you barking in it!
