We just wanted to take a moment to thank Sir Noel from @noelsamsonweddingfilms for giving us the most heartfelt gift we didnโ€™t even know we needed ๐Ÿฅน Our same-day edit wasnโ€™t just a videoโ€”it felt like a love letter to our day. You captured the little glances, the laughter, the teary smilesโ€ฆ all the things we were too overwhelmed to fully notice in the moment. Thank you for seeing us so clearly and for telling our story with such quiet grace. Weโ€™ll be watching this for years to come, always remembering how it felt to live that day. From the bottom of our heartsโ€”thank you. #noelsamsonweddingfilms #weddingsde #gratefulheart๐Ÿ’– #ourweddingstory๐Ÿ’ #capturedwithloveโค๏ธ #johncaughtanangel ๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒป by @larie.enrose
Thirty, and my last birthday before baby girl arrives ๐ŸŽ€ a little late to the post, but not to the memories โ™ก P.S. thank you bubba for the Book Cove subscription. I canโ€™t wait to read her ๐Ÿฉฐ๐Ÿ’• #birthday #latepost #thirtyandthriving by @larie.enrose
We always knew we wanted a little girl someday. We even had her name picked out long before we knew when sheโ€™d come into our lives ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿค A baby wasnโ€™t part of our immediate plans just yet. We were waiting for my visa, dreaming about finally closing the distance, and looking forward to having some time together as husband and wife before becoming parents. Then life surprised us, and suddenly, the future we used to talk about felt a little closer than we expected. I wrote this letter to John when I first found out we were having a baby. He was miles away, and I wanted him to know that even though this wasnโ€™t part of our timeline, our next chapter had already begun. Back then, we didnโ€™t know if weโ€™d get our little girl. But we had always hoped for her, prayed for her, and imagined calling her by the name weโ€™d chosen for her. And now, here we are ๐Ÿฅน God really gave us our Aleyah. We thought weโ€™d have more time before becoming Mommy and Daddy, but apparently, our little girl had her own plans ๐ŸŽ€ Aleyah Rose, arriving February 2027. Our answered prayer, our unexpected little blessing, and the little girl we always dreamed of ๐Ÿค P.S. Huge shoutout to @dcakesbybakeology ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ’• Thank you for creating this beautiful cake for such a special milestone in our lives! The cutesy details made it such a lovely addition to our little girlโ€™s announcement, and weโ€™re so happy to have these memories to look back on. Thank you for being part of such a meaningful moment for our growing family! ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŽ€ #baby2027 #genderreveal by @larie.enrose
For anyone whoโ€™s read The Starless Sea, you know the story of Fate and Timeโ€” how Time does the quiet work, and Fate waits patiently for the right moment. Thatโ€™s how my husband and I found each other. Not by chance. But by timing. By becoming who we were meant to be before we ever crossed paths. By a universe that finally whispered now. Like Fate and Time, everything moved gently into placeโ€” until we were finally ready. Itโ€™s funny how delicate it all is. If one thing had been differentโ€” if I didnโ€™t choose to work closer to home, if my husband had decided not to attend his cousinโ€™s wedding here in the Philippines, our lives would have continued on separate paths, never knowing what almost was. A little advice from a former cynic: Be honest about what you want. Be brave enough to say it out loud. And be willing to do the quiet work of healing and becoming. Because when you do, the universe has a way of answeringโ€” and it will handle the rest. P.S. For anyone who hasnโ€™t read The Starless Sea, Iโ€™ve added in the next slides one of the most quietly powerful pieces of lyrical prose Iโ€™ve ever readโ€” about timing, destiny, and the way everything finds its way home. #valentinesdaypost #lessonsfrombooks #thestarlesssea #lyricalprose by @larie.enrose
Starting off December and the season of giving by visiting a bookstore thatโ€™s close to my heart ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’œ They were badly hit by a typhoon last month, and most of their books and merchandise were ruined. Theyโ€™ve just reopened, selling a small selection of books at discounted prices. I didnโ€™t even check how big the discount wasโ€” I just wanted to support them and show some solidarity. I might not even read these books, but honestlyโ€ฆ I think theyโ€™ll look perfect on my coffee table โ˜•๐Ÿ“š Hereโ€™s to supporting local businesses, old haunts, and the places that shaped us ๐Ÿฅนโœจ #bookstagram #coffeetablebooks #bookstore by @larie.enrose
Six months ago, on a rainy summer afternoon, I married you beneath stained glass and candlelightโ€” the world outside soft and gray, but everything inside our little church was golden. We promised forever, not knowing how quickly distance would test us harder. But here we areโ€” six months of time zones, Messenger and Discord calls that stretch into dawn, laughter through screens, and the ache of missing you that somehow makes the love feel even more real. Iโ€™d do it all over again: the rain, the vows, even the waiting. Because even from miles away, you are still my calm in every storm, my favorite person in every season๐ŸŒง๏ธ๐Ÿ’ Half a year down, forever to go, bubba. I love you so much and I canโ€™t wait to finally be together with you again. by @larie.enrose
Remember when we werenโ€™t supposed to judge books by their covers? Yeah, that didnโ€™t age well ๐Ÿ˜… But seriously who can blame me though? Books that go bump in the night ๐Ÿ‘€โœจ But seriously though, between trick or treat, Iโ€™d rather take books that haunt my sleep ๐Ÿ–ค My Halloween TBR: spooky, moody, and just a little cursed ๐Ÿ‘ป P.S.
