I genuinely think powder rooms are one of the most fun spaces to design. Small enough to take risks, yet practical enough to justify thoughtful details.This one started as a perfectly lovely little space… but once we reworked the main floor layout, relocating it entirely opened the door for something that felt so much more special. We completely reworked this space to turn a former breakfast area into a dining room that feels more intentional, more open, and much better suited to the way this family lives.One of my favourite parts of this project was reusing what they already had. Refinishing their existing dining table and bringing their original chairs back into the mix. It’s such a simple thing, but it adds so much warmth, history, and character to the space. by @larkandlinen

Lately, I’ve been rethinking where I go to feel inspired.I’ve found myself pulling back from the scroll of Instagram (ironic, I know) and leaning into Pinterest again. I find it slower, quieter, and somehow more creatively filling. And when I step back and really look at what I’m drawn to, the threads are always there.A little traditional, a little modern. Stripes (always), sculptural lighting, beautiful trim, and those small, whimsical details that make a space feel lived-in and personal…I pulled together everything I’m loving most right now over on the blog.
