Not every day is a 100% day.

That doesn’t mean you can’t train or do good work.

It means we have to pay attention, communicate, and adjust when needed.

As coaches, it’s our job to ask better questions and notice what’s in front of us.

As clients, it’s about learning to recognize and communicate what your body is telling you.

If today is a 70% day, let’s do really good work with that 70%.

Meet them where they are. Adjust the work. Keep moving forward.

If you’re a coach or healthcare provider looking to improve how you assess, communicate, and make better training decisions with your clients, join me for Integrated Body Level 1: Reset & Reinforce on October 17 at @larkgso in Greensboro, NC.

The Integrated Body goes deeper than learning a collection of techniques.

It’s about developing the language, strategies, and confidence to assess what’s in front of you, make intentional decisions, and understand what should come next.

Through hands-on learning and practical application, Integrated Body Level 1: Reset & Reinforce gives coaches and clinicians a repeatable framework they can apply across movement, rehabilitation, and performance.

And neither of them is a specific technique or exercise.

The first is that it’s human-centered.

Before we decide what someone needs, we need to hear their story.

What are they experiencing?

What are they trying to get back to?

What have they already tried?

What are they comfortable doing right now?

Our job as coaches and practitioners is to take that information, filter it through our experience, and find an entry point that makes sense for the human in front of us.

Not just the diagnosis.

Not just the movement.

The person.

The second thing I’m proud of is how collaborative the course has become.

We’ve had strength coaches, athletic trainers, chiropractors, massage therapists, physical therapists, and other movement professionals learning alongside one another.

Everyone sees problems through a slightly different lens.

And instead of pretending one discipline has all the answers, we create an environment where those perspectives can come together.

We discuss problems.

We practice.

We challenge ideas.

And we learn from each other.

Because ultimately, I don’t think better coaching comes from collecting more techniques.

It comes from becoming better at listening, thinking, communicating, and collaborating.

And that’s what I want Integrated Body to continue developing.

There still time to register for our upcoming course:

My car wouldn’t start the other morning. And I had a mini panic attack.

The battery was new. The lights worked. I cleaned the terminals.

And because cars aren’t my area of expertise, my mind immediately started going everywhere.

Battery? Alternator? Electrical problem? Am I going to need to tow it?

Then my neighbor came over, checked the terminals and noticed something simple.

They were loose.

We tightened them.

The car started.

Simple solution. But it didn’t feel like a simple problem when I was the one experiencing it.

That experience reminded me of something important as a coach and practitioner:

Don’t forget what it feels like to be the person who doesn’t know.

Our clients may come to us after weeks or months of pain, frustration, Google searches, exercises, conflicting advice, and worrying about what might be wrong.

What seems obvious to us might feel incredibly overwhelming to them.

Our job isn’t always to give them more.

Sometimes it’s to reduce the noise, communicate clearly, and find the simplest useful place to start.

That’s a big part of why I created Integrated Body: Reset & Reinforce.

It’s not about collecting more techniques.

It’s about becoming more intentional with the tools you already have: learning to assess, communicate, ask better questions, and choose an appropriate entry point for the person in front of you.

Expertise isn’t making complicated problems sound more complicated.

It’s helping people navigate them with greater clarity.

Rehab and performance are not separate worlds.

Rehab focuses on restoring movement, reducing symptoms, and rebuilding capacity.

Performance focuses on developing strength, power, and the ability to handle greater demands.

But there isn’t a clear line where one ends and the other begins.

There is a continuum.

The same principles that help someone regain confidence in movement can eventually help them tolerate load, build strength, and return to higher levels of performance.

The exercises may change.

The intensity may change.

The demands may change.

But the goal remains the same:

Prepare the person for what they need to do next.

That’s a big part of what we explore in the Integrated Body courses.

Learning how to connect the dots between rehab, strength, and performance instead of treating them as separate systems.

Join us on October 17 inside @larkgso in Greensboro,NC for Reset & Reinforce : Level 1

Seats are capped at 15 participants so save your spots today!
