I’ve been gatekeeping this one long enough.

The Anza A-Frame is a restored 80s hideaway sitting on 5 private acres at 4200 feet in the high desert of Southern California, tucked halfway between Temecula and Palm Springs with mountain views in every direction.

Three cabins. A grape vineyard. Crystals literally popping out of the ground. And every now and then snow in March that feels like a dream.

I’ve come back again and again because this place does something to me. It slows me down and fills me up.

The owners are creative and grounded, it shows in everything. The interiors, the land, the energy of the whole property. They also offer permits for filming, photography, retreats, weddings, and creative gatherings.

The town of Anza is small but don’t sleep on it. The thrift store alone is worth the drive.

Lightning in a Bottle 2026 @libfestival

This inter-planetary trip fundamentally changed me. It shifted at my core how I view and will now show up in this world.

It challenged and pushed me so far out of my comfort zone, I was certain I landed on Neptune.

I danced the equivalent of 17 miles per day like no one was watching. Completely free.

In 5 days I achieved more breakthrough in my mental, emotional, and physical health than I have over a lifetime of professional therapy, group meetings, books, journals, gyms, churches, hypnotists, mentors, saunas, sound baths, and reiki healings.

Somewhere around day 2, deep within the mist and lasers, I set down the weight and clutter I’ve been carrying my entire life.

I thanked my walls for protecting me, then I knocked them down.

I acknowledged my fears for pacing me, then I released them.

I honored my pain for teaching me, then I surrender into it.

I overcame intense weather, blocked airways, and camp crankiness. I taught myself to jump my own car battery using my solar generator in triple digit heat. I learned how to get comfortable with being uncomfortable.

I know now that I can do anything.

Thank you @rikkiram for staying on this wild ride with me, over the week and over the decades. I’m so grateful we get to make a mess of this life and then clean it all up together.

I am finally here, fully and for good.
