Delighted to be featured by @skinpharmacyuk in the latest Shop My Shelf. 🤍

A glimpse inside my beauty cabinet—and the philosophy behind it: efficacy over excess, always.

I don’t chase launches. I refine. I buy with intention, use what I own, and only replenish the products that have genuinely earned a permanent place on my shelf.

My edit is built around trusted favourites from @zoskinhealth_uki and @officialmedik8—science-led formulas that consistently deliver, alongside a growing preference for refillable design where performance never has to compromise sustainability.

To me, the future of beauty isn’t about having more. It’s about having better. Thoughtful choices. Proven results. Less waste. More intention. 🧖‍♀️ by @laromanin

Happy Canada Day. ❤️🍁❤️🍁

Some places never leave you. No matter where life takes me or how many places I get to call home, a part of me will always belong to you. It’s where my story began, where my values were shaped, and where I first learned to dream beyond borders.

Here’s to the cities that raised us, the people who shaped us, and the memories that always lead us home.

To every Canadian celebrating from afar, I hope you’re carrying a little piece of home with you today.

Happy Canada Day, wherever you are. 🇨🇦 🫶🤍🇨🇦🇨🇦🤍 by @laromanin

I played football on an undefeated team in Canada.

That’s why I read this differently to most people in fashion.

The clubs winning over the next decade won’t just be collecting trophies.

They’ll be building cultural equity.

⚽ Sport isn’t borrowing from fashion anymore.

It’s becoming the new runway.

The response to last week’s TUESDAY INTELLIGENCE BRIEFING confirmed it: this shift isn’t a trend. It’s structural.

In LOOPED IN®️ Issue #06, I unpack:
• Como 1907 × Rhuigi Villaseñor
• What Burberry’s latest campaign is really signalling
• Why sport is becoming culture’s most powerful platform

I’ll be at Cannes Lions unpacking this: girls’ and women’s football, fandom, and where culture is heading next.

If you’re building at the intersection, let’s connect ⚽️⚽️

Girls & Women’s sport is no longer a movement — it’s a new media and investment category.

Sport is becoming one of the most influential systems shaping identity, fandom, and capital allocation — with women and girls accelerating its evolution.

This is the space She Got Game®️ is built for. Built by athletes, for athletes — operating across five verticals: media IP, talent, live experiences, brand partnerships, and cultural intelligence.

What’s emerging is clear:
 audience is community
 content is infrastructure
 fandom is capital

I’ll be continuing these conversations at @cannes_lions (Sports), connecting with investors, brands, and partners building at the intersection of sport, media, and the women’s economy. I look forward to engaging with Louisa Wee (Strava), Danny Tang (Hero Esports), Mohammed Sehly (BigTime Creative Shop), Niccolò Maisto (ESL FACEIT Group), Brandon Snow (RedBird Capital Partners), Kameryn Stanhouse (IBM), Anastasiya Ryaboshapka (@newbalance), Valentino Brodkorb (PRovoke Media), Mike Minton (@twitch), Adam Davidson (@warnerbrosentertainment), Laura Correnti (@deepbluesportsent ), Lisa O’Keefe (International Working Group on Women and Sport), and Susie Wolff (@f1 ), as well as Kate Theobald (@liverpoolfc Club).

Excited for the conversations ahead. ⚽️⚽️⚽️ by @laromanin

LOOPED IN®️ — TUESDAY INTELLIGENCE BRIEFING
Issue #05 | THE $100M DEAL EXPOSING THE COLLAPSE OF ETHICAL PREMIUM

This week’s briefing analyses a $100M+ signal moment — including @sheinofficial reported move toward @everlane — exposing a structural market shift: the “ethical premium” is no longer inherently protected.

At the centre of this shift is @spreeai led by founder @iamjohnimah where a reported $1.5B valuation signals a redesign of the shopping layer itself. Full intelligence via LOOPED IN®️ (Premium) — including Case Study 03: https://lnkd.in/evbmcPMY

Lastly, so please to share, LOOPED IN®️ (Premium) —for Corporate Premium Access is now available — built for business expense approval, with a ready-to-use internal submission template for founders, operators, marketers, investors, and the culturally curious.👏👏👏 by @laromanin

SPILLING THE TEA ☕️

SHEIN is reportedly acquiring Everlane for $100M — and it may be the clearest sign yet that millennial sustainability is collapsing under the pressure of price, speed, and scale.

Everlane once sold ethics as aspiration.
Now? Consumers want affordability, resale value, flexibility, and accessibility — all at once.

Critics call it hypocrisy. Others say fast fashion infrastructure may be the only way sustainability survives commercially.

The real question:
Is slow, values-led fashion still viable in 2026 — or are we entering a completely new value system?

Fashion’s not just changing aesthetically.
Its economics are being rewritten.

This week on my Substack newsletter, Looped In®️—a space for quieter thinking around smarter, more conscious consumption, where craft, circularity, and culture intersect through a contemporary lens. Every week, I explore the shifts shaping how we buy, build, and ultimately believe in what we consume.

This week: Golden Goose at Selfridges, Monte-Carlo Fashion Week’s shift toward responsible fashion, and My Beauty (Refill) Essentials—alongside a few quiet previews of what’s unfolding this month.

Less about more. More about what stays.

This week, as we celebrate World Water Day, I’ve been thinking about what we don’t see—what we don’t measure.

Water.

As creatives, we’ve always been fluent in image, emotion, and narrative. But the next era of creative leadership asks for something more exacting: a literacy in resources.

A cotton T-shirt carries ~2,720 litres of water before it ever touches skin.

A pair of jeans can exceed 10,850 litres.

And synthetics—deceptively weightless—release microplastics with every wash, threading themselves into our waterways, invisibly, persistently.

This is no longer just a supply chain conversation.
It’s a creative one.

Because what we choose to design, produce, and amplify doesn’t just reflect culture—it engineers demand. It decides what scales.

What feels quietly powerful right now is the shift from storytelling to systems. Brands like @elvdenim are not just reframing the narrative—they’re reworking the architecture. Less water. Same desirability. No compromise.

The future of creativity won’t be defined by what we make people want.
But by what we make possible—at scale, and with integrity.
