Gothic 1 Remake | Making Of Special: The Community

In just over a month, Gothic 1 Remake will be released, and we’ll once again be able to dive into this incredible world that hundreds of thousands of players fell in love with more than 20 years ago.

Throughout all these years, the community has played an extraordinary role in the life of the game — patches, modifications, events, and countless creative projects. All of this is the reason why Gothic 1 Remake and other projects are possible today. The Gothic community is the driving force that has kept the franchise alive, breathing life into it and keeping its heart beating stronger than ever. Without you, none of this would have been possible.

That’s why we’ve created a special Making Of episode dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Gothic and to its incredible community — its creativity, inspiring people, and the projects that have kept the franchise alive.

In this episode, you’ll meet some of the most well-known members of the community — Don Esteban, NicoDE, Mondgesänge, LARMOV, The Chronicles of Myrtana team, and many more.

This episode is about all of you and for all of you.

Thank you, and enjoy watching! taken in Barcelona, Spain by @larpgothic

🌿 NOVICES – THE LAST PATH TO THE SLEEPER

Only one path remains. A path of smoke, faith, and illusion.
The path of the Novice.

You'll become one of the Novices – the backbone of the Sect Camp.
In the eyes of others: a servant, a weed peddler, a water hauler.
In truth: a believer, a schemer, a candidate for the Sleeper’s chosen.

🛐 Why play a Novice?
✔️ Rituals, campfires, kitchens, smoke, and whispered prayers
✔️ Trade, magic, alchemy, and intrigues among the higher ranks
✔️ A chance to rise and gain influence – if others follow you
✔️ A role rooted in the dense, pulsing atmosphere of a cult-like community

🌘 This faction is for you if you:
– Want to play in a religious structure full of tension and hierarchy
– Enjoy cult, mystic, and social dynamics
– Don’t mind being a messenger, servant… or a candidate for something greater
– And seriously: you can roll a cigarette with a short paper 😛

⚠️ Only a few spots left!
Everything else is already full.
If you're joining the game – now's the time.

🌿 Awaken. Breathe. Serve. And maybe… be chosen.
👉 Join the Novices.

‼️ The Shadows – The third of four factions opens its doors... but only to a chosen few.

After the Diggers and the Templars, it's time for the Shadows.
Out of all the factions in the game, only four still have open slots – and this one is for those who prefer to move in the dark, not under the rules.
Only 2 spots left. And no, the Shadows don’t take just anyone.

💀 You don’t mess with the Shadows.
One wrong gesture, one careless word – and if you're lucky, you'll just end up with broken teeth behind the Old Camp wall.
It doesn't matter who you are or how high you stand in the Colony’s hierarchy – if you cross the Shadows, they will come for you.

🚬 Who are the Shadows?
They’re Gomez’s eyes and ears – masters of blackmail, smuggling, intimidation and negotiation.
They get things done before the rest of the Colony even notices a problem.
A network of influence, loyalty and control that obeys no formal order – yet even the guards tread carefully around them.

💼 How does it work?
The Shadows are divided into crews, each with their own turf, specialty and way of handling business.
Each crew is led by a respected and experienced Shadow, whose authority comes not from ranks, but from deeds.
When the job demands it – the crews unite and move as one.

🔺 Being a Shadow isn’t just a role – it’s an opportunity.
✔️ Want to rise through the ranks of the Old Camp? This is where it starts.
✔️ Prefer to work your way into the monastery? The Shadows can open that door too.
✔️ Or maybe you just want to be the one others whisper about?

⚠️ Only 2 spots left.
No ads. No forms. Just one decision: step in, or be forgotten.

🖤 Shadows don’t shine. They act.
👉 Join them… before someone else does.

You thought the Diggers were all we had to offer?
Think again — that was just the beginning.

For those who seek greater discipline, power, and influence — there are the Templars.

🩸 Templars – 8 Spots for the Chosen Ones!
In the service of the Sleeper, nothing is by chance.

8 places remain among the ranks of the Templars — a fanatical caste of warriors, lifted from the crowd by their faith, discipline, and devotion to the Brotherhood.

💠 Who are we?
The Templars are the protectors of order, the shadow of the Gurus, the swords of the Sleeper.
We safeguard the integrity of the Sect Camp, defend its sacred core, and carry out the orders of the gurus — even those others deem impossible… or impure.

🌑 Why choose this path?
✔️ An elite role with a clear structure and real authority
✔️ A storyline built on loyalty, secrecy, punishment, and reward
✔️ Access to special missions, magical paths, and the darkest corners of the camp
✔️ The chance to earn the gift of magic — a reward for devoted service

👁️‍🗨️ Who is it for?
✧ For those who want to play a fanatic on a mission
✧ For those who take pride in enforcing the rules and looking down from the top of the social ladder
✧ For those who don’t just believe — but act in the name of that belief

🩸 Are you ready to guard the Sleeper’s dream… even unto blood?
👉 Sign up now at https://larpgothic.pl – only 8 spots left.
