Finally out!
The social campaign we produced for @nzsockco.

Such a fun project to be part of, and an absolute pleasure working with @kelly.lovelock for the first time. Hands down one of the best briefs we’ve had.

The first frame is a composition built from the line work we created throughout the campaign, reflecting the technical nature of NZsock’s products while also celebrating the diverse range of people who rely on them every day.

Over the past few months or more it’s been a busy time. So busy that it’s been difficult to post anything.

Lots and lots super fun shoots, edits and people. So best thing is to just create and post with a few grabs from those times.

Outdoor Shooting 101. The Red Jacket 🔥

Bold colour always wins.
Especially when it’s @montanenewzealand / @montaneofficial red out in the wild. This jacket is tough and technical, perfect for shooting in super rough conditions.

If you have ever hiked the the 2 peaks @brokenriver from the Accom you will know how steep and tricky the terrain is. Add gale force winds...

Huge shout to Kate from @coxandco absolute cariad ❤️ for producing the shoot and then smashing some BTS.

And of course @jayfrench out there capturing the sickest stills while we made sure the talent were wearing the right colours for the terrain.

In 2014 in Tonga I launched my first drone.

No rules, no manuals, no screen to see where I was flying. The footage was shaky, the battery was shocking but I had a flying camera.

Fast forward to 2025 and drones are part of my everyday kit.

The tech and regulations have changed but that buzz of getting a camera in the air in seconds is still the same.

Kicking off a little series of drone stories with a throwback to that very first flight to a more recent capture.

Shooting for @loropiana via @nzmerinoco I used the drone to capture the wide New Zealand landscapes and the high-country merino stations where their fine wool begins its journey. Those aerial perspectives bring the scale and story together in a way nothing else can.

ANOTHER co-lab with the incredible @coxandconz and the very talented director @polbaril with local support from @oliviaanderrson.

The Montane campaign is live : The Pursuit of Light ⚡️

Three trampers, one mish, and a whole lot of rain (some of it real, some of it… not so much).

Shot this one deep in Glenn Hope Station near Lewis Pass with the always sharp @jayfrench.nz, producer @coxandconz and backup from the best in the outdoor business at @furtherfasteroutdoor.

Always a buzz seeing it out in the wild.
