Everything changed when the same day I found out I was pregnant with Cove, I signed a book deal!

It’s been a secret ever since, but now it’s time to share the cover! This year, I’ve become a mother, moved to a new country, opened a second L’Arrosoir location in Oslo, and wrote a book 🙏💫🌸

FLEURS is coming Spring 2026. Created in collaboration with photographer @katiedonnelly_ , it features over 50 floral recipes that capture the essence of French floral design rules… And the beauty of breaking them.

Merci to my agent @lme.in.nyc and publisher @hachetteus @unionsqandco for making this dream bloom. taken in Paris, France by @larrosoirparis

In April of this year, FLEURS was published by @hachetteus in the USA. It’s a totally new concept: A recipe book for bouquets. For an entire year, I worked on Fleurs with author @adrienneryser photographing the most beautiful blooms each season. Photographing over 50 different bouquets and arrangements, there are over 100 photographs in the book and all of them are mine (minus a few oldies!).

It’s a project that I’m extremely proud of as it pushed me creatively and professionally in a way I hadn’t been pushed in years. What an absolute joy to be an artist and discover new things ❤️❤️

Fleurs is celebrating its 6 month anniversary and Adrienne is book touring currently in California. It’s amazing to look back and see where we started, all of the work we put into each bouquet, running around like maniacs at Rungis, photographing all over Paris, in antique shops, outside, in metro stations, and of course at @larrosoirparis . This is the sort of project that I would love to have again.

If you comment FLEURS I’ll send you the link to it. Fleurs is available in the US through every major bookstore, and in France at L’Arrosoir (Paris, 11ème), the oldest flower shop in Paris.

Happy half-birthday Fleurs!

PS Here are a few of my favorite shots in the book, enjoy!

Orange and yellow flowers are not my favorite, but this week the shop was filled with them for an event we did for a mustard company so I decided to challenge myself!

FROM PARIS TO WOODSIDE, CALIFORNIA

Just a few days ago, we were in Paris visiting L’Arrosoir—the city’s oldest flower shop and a beloved fixture on rue Oberkampf for more than a century. Now, a little of that Paris flower magic is coming to California.

Adrienne Ryser, owner of L’Arrosoir and author of Fleurs: Bouquets, Arrangements, and French Floral Inspirations, has chosen two special destinations for her Northern California visit: Château Sonoma in Sonoma and Emily Joubert Home & Garden in Woodside.

Born in California to horticulturist parents and shaped by her life in Paris, Adrienne approaches flowers with a sensibility that is wild yet refined, deeply romantic and unmistakably French. Her beautiful debut book shares more than 50 floral arrangements, along with the traditional rules of French floral design—and how to break them beautifully.

We are honored to welcome Adrienne to Woodside in our garden on Thursday, October 8th.

When I started working at L’Arrosoir, there was no computer, no website, no Instagram. The owners never really took photos of their work, and I remember thinking that this place was so special and that the flower shop and the feeling of it all deserved to be documented and shared! So I started a little Instagram account simply because I wanted to document L’Arrosoir and share a little bit of its magic with everyone.

I was young and driven and passionate when I bought the shop in 2020. I felt so lucky to be entrusted with such a beautiful legacy. A community in Paris that had been growing there for more than 100 years. I wanted more than anything to protect what made it beloved and hopefully to carry it forward with my own sparkle.

And then today, we hit 50,000 followers.
I know 50,000 is just a number, but it feels very monumental to me because I remember when I first started the Instagram account. I did it because I genuinely believed that L’Arrosoir was something unique and that it could make people happy. I remember sitting with my little team and dreaming about what the shop could become, writing down our hopes and manifestations and one of mine, which seemed completely unattainable at the time for a little shop, was obtain 50,000 followers.

50,000 people who have found L’Arrosoir.
50,000 people who have followed along, shared the flowers, cheered us on and helped us spread a little bit of the magic I fell in love with all those years ago.
I’m trèsssssssss grateful.

Here’s to 50,000 more, and to all the people who are still going to discover L’Arrosoir. 🤍

Thank you for being here.

Her har det vært solgt blomster i over 100 år!
