Thanks for all the funky love on Funky Groove Samba! ❤️

I know I'm definitely not the best goalkeeper... 😅

So for this one, I figured my place was better in the stands. ⚽️😂

One of those records that will never get old. Midnight Star – Midas Touch. Had to jump on that verse for a little vocal jam 🙏

Saw @daniloplessow_mcde & @antalheitlager at Cabaret Sauvage this year, and it was unreal. Their set introduced me to a hidden R&B gem from 1987: "Señorita." 💎 by @larryhoul

Always been a huge fan of @stgermainofficial since I was a kid.
This @toddedwards3000 remix of “Alabama Blues”, released in 1995 on @fcom25 , is such a timeless piece. 🔥

One of my all-time favourites.

What’s the track you’re listening to on repeat right now?

“Right now, I’m listening to ‘Higher’ by Social Lovers a lot, released on Star Creature. It has such a great groove while still feeling really laid back. It’s exactly the kind of track I can listen to over and over without getting tired of it.”

‘Higher’ by Social Lovers

What’s the best studio session you’ve had so far?

“It’s hard to choose just one. I have great memories of sessions with Flabaire, Secret Value Orchestra, and Oden & Fatzo while working on ‘This Is The Way’. I also really enjoy working with Magnolia at the moment. He’s an amazing musician and, most importantly, we have a lot of fun in the studio. That’s essential for me.”

Which artist inspires you the most, musically or in the way they approach their career?

“I’m a huge Bill Withers fan. To me, his music is soul in its purest form. Live at Carnegie Hall has always been one of my favourite albums. There’s something incredibly human and sincere in his music that really resonates with me.”

Bill Withers Live at Carnegie Hall

What’s the live show or DJ set you’ve played that has stayed with you the most?

“Probably my show at the Bataclan this year, opening for Arc de Soleil. Being able to perform on that stage was quite emotional for me.”

Larry Houl at Bataclan, Jan. 2026

Which of your own tracks has become your signature one, the track that always works?

“My remix of Nouar’s ‘Cheikha Rilitti’ always gets a great reaction on the dancefloor, haha. I love playing it because I know it’s almost always going to trigger something in the crowd.”
