Every five years, the Andy Warhol Museum (@thewarholmuseum) celebrates the founding of the largest single-artist museum in North America. Miller reached out to me and we worked on a series of 3D key visuals and animations with the goal of incorporating Warhol’s work and showcasing the location of the gala at the Rivers of Steel’s Carrie Blast Furnaces, a national historic landmark of Pittsburgh. Good times! 🤝

Identity for the local café @kuchen_kollektiv created earlier this year. In this minimalist approach @hacarba and I combined the classic "cake cut pattern" and a spoked wheel design—a tribute to the special love for cyclists. :—)

I was recognized as a talent by @ddc_gutegestaltung for my bachelor’s project. Although I enjoy doing 3D work, I decided to do a branding project for a donation app that I had been thinking about for some time and that is aimed at anyone who would like to donate but only has a small budget. Here we go. This is forward. To forward change. A CI for a micro-donation service.

The CI is quite simple at its core. Due to the micro-donations, it depicts coins in a flowing grid with different widths and sizes to show all the people who donate and also all the different budgets that are covered via the very flexible forward app. For the CI, I programmed a small browser application, the “forward flex generator,” which can be used to quickly create key visuals and animations of this flowing grid. Following the organic grid idea by @nahuel.gerth / For typography, I opted for the comprehensive and responsive “GT Flexa” from @grillitype / The animations were created with @cavalry.app and benKo Script from @pepkomotion / Plus a little 3D work for the mockups. :–)

Gemischte Tüte Bochum is an archive book that documents the development of kiosk culture and the transition from historic drinking halls to mini markets of the Ruhr region in western Germany and highlights the “Gemischte Tüte” (mixed bag of candies) as a central item of this tradition.

Using a total of 286 scanned sweets, we have created a collection that reveals the aesthetic diversity. The project brings together the typical simplicity of archives with the playful chaos of childhood memories. :-)
