The black light is off, the exhibition is over. Enthusiastic visitors from all over the world have seen the elixir prints with my plant and earth colors in the black room. People were amazed by the unexpected.
The play with black light and normal light, the effects, questions and the different effects on the viewers led to many interesting conversations. The eye needs some time to adapt to the new light situation. Here you can see details of the works from the last post in normal light. No photo can show what the eye sees and what sensations arise when you take the time to look at the prints. If someone is having a techno party I have an interesting series for wall decoration. If someone wants to surprise their guests for dinner, get in touch too. I'm glad I was brave enough to do the unexpected.

Das Schwarzlicht ist aus, die Ausstellung zu Ende. Begeisterte Interessenten aus der ganzen Welt haben die Elixierdrucke mit meinen Pflanzen- und Erdfarben im Schwarzen Raum gesehen. Das Unerwartete versetzte die Menschen in Staunen.
Das Spiel mit Schwarzlicht und Normalem Licht, die Effekte, Fragen, die unterschiedliche Wirkung auf die Betrachter ergab viele interessante Gespräche. Das Auge braucht jeweils einige Zeit, um sich der neuen Lichtsituation anzupassen. Hier seht ihr Details der Arbeiten vom letzten post bei normalem Licht. Kein Foto kann zeigen, was das Auge sieht und welche Empfindungen entstehen, wenn man sich Zeit nimmt, die Drucke zu betrachten. Wenn jemand eine Technoparty veranstaltet habe ich eine interessante Serie für die Wanddekoration. Wenn jemand seine Gäste zum Abendessen überraschen möchte, meldet euch ebenfalls. Ich bin froh, daß ich mutig war, das Unerwartete zu tun.

Details of the pictures in the exhibition, which can be seen in Berlin until August 31.
There is a special room with black light.
Unfortunately, the photos cannot show what the eyes can see.
The pictures look even more interesting in the exhibition.
It is a great experiment to play with fluorescent colors in a series of elixir prints made from my own plant and earth colors.
All the visitors are fascinated.
In the next post I'll show you some of the pictures without black light.

Détails des images de l'exposition qui se tiendra à Berlin jusqu'au 31 août.
Il y a une salle spéciale avec une lumière noire.
Malheureusement, les photos ne peuvent pas montrer ce que les yeux peuvent voir.
Dans l'exposition, les photos ont l'air encore plus intéressantes.
C'est une grande expérience de jouer avec des couleurs fluorescentes dans une série d'impressions d'élixirs à partir de ses propres couleurs de plantes - et de terre.
Tous les visiteurs sont fascinés.
Dans le prochain post, je vous montrerai des parties des images sans lumière noire.

Es gibt einen speziellen Raum mit Schwarzlicht.
Leider können die Fotos nicht zeigen, was die Augen sehen können.
In der Ausstellung sehen die Bilder noch viel interessanter aus.
Es ist ein großes Experiment in einer Serie der Elixierdrucke aus eigenen Pflanzen - und Erdfarben mit fluoreszierenden Farben zu spielen.
Alle Besucher sind fasziniert.
Im nächsten Post zeige ich euch Teile der Bilder ohne Schwarzlicht.

In the current exhibition, works made from my plant and earth colors and a play of fluorescent colors under black light can be seen in the Black Room until the end of August.
There are eight works on display in which I work with the process of change.
The reactions of the visitors confirm that art should not limit itself.

Dans l'exposition actuelle, on peut voir jusqu'à la fin du mois d'août, dans l'espace noir, des travaux réalisés avec mes couleurs végétales et de terre et un jeu de couleurs fluorescentes sous la lumière noire.
Huit œuvres sont présentées, dans lesquelles je travaille sur le processus de changement.
Les réactions des visiteurs confirment que l'art ne devrait pas se limiter.

In der derzeitigen Ausstellung können bis Ende August im Schwarzen Raum Arbeiten aus meinen Pflanzen - und Erdfarben und einem Spiel aus fluoreszierenden Farben unter Schwarzlicht angesehen werden.
Es sind acht Arbeiten zu sehen, bei denen ich mit dem Prozess des Wandels arbeite.
Die Reaktionen der Besucher bestätigen, daß Kunst sich nicht beschränken sollte.

Experiments with different plants. Blackberries, red cabbage 4 times, Coreopsis tinctoria.
Adding lemon changes the color of the red cabbage.
By adding different solids, the plant sap changes its color and a pigment can be created. However, it is also possible to produce an ink from the plant sap. So many possibilities in my laboratory.

Expériences avec différentes plantes. Des mûres, du chou rouge 4 fois, du Coreopsis tinctoria.
En ajoutant du citron, le chou rouge change de couleur.
En ajoutant différents solides, la sève de la plante change de couleur et un pigment peut apparaître. Mais il est également possible de fabriquer une encre de Chine à partir du jus de la plante. Autant de possibilités dans mon laboratoire.

Experimente mit verschiedenen Pflanzen. Brombeeren, Rotkohl 4 mal, Coreopsis tinctoria.
Durch die Zugabe von Zitrone verändert der Rotkohl seine Farbe.
Durch die Zugabe von unterschiedlichen Feststoffen verändert der Pflanzensaft seine Farbe und ein Pigment kann entstehen. Es ist aber auch möglich eine Tusche aus dem Pflanzensaft herzustellen. So viele Möglichkeiten in meinem Laboratorium.
