2nd Annual @adaptivefreedomfoundation Waves of Ability was unforgettable!

We were honored to watch Tony Thogmartin’s inspiring WCMX performance, bringing the energy and fearless spirit of BMX and skateboarding to a wheelchair.

Waves of Ability is about more than an incredible performance—it’s about creating access, celebrating every ability, and building spaces where everyone can experience the ocean, community, and freedom on their own terms.

We’re grateful to @adaptivefreedomfoundation for challenging barriers, inspiring possibility, and helping everyone ride their own wave. Here’s to a future where freedom and access are open to all! by @lasdtesla

Elon Musk Gives Jay Leno a Behind-the-Scenes Look at SpaceX’s Rocket Engine Factory
Elon Musk recently gave comedian and car enthusiast Jay Leno a tour of a SpaceX facility, where they walked among rows of large rocket engines being manufactured in California.

During the roughly 45-second clip, Leno asked whether SpaceX builds the engines itself. Musk confirmed that the company manufactures them in-house and claimed they have the highest chamber pressure of any engine ever operated. He also described the engine as “the most advanced engine ever made” and said SpaceX is producing roughly one per day.

Musk also explained SpaceX’s unusual choice of 300-series stainless steel for its rockets, calling the material decision counterintuitive. The discussion later shifted to patents, which Musk criticized as obstacles that can prevent competitors from advancing technology.

The tour offers a rare look at the industrial side of SpaceX: not just designing powerful rocket engines, but attempting to manufacture them at a pace closer to mass production.

SpaceX is pushing the limits of rocket science with its next-generation system, Starship. Instead of landing with legs like the Falcon 9, the massive Super Heavy booster is designed to return directly to the launch site and be caught mid-air by giant mechanical arms on the tower nicknamed “Mechazilla.”

This isn’t science fiction. It’s a bold step toward fully reusable rockets that could fly again within hours, dramatically reducing the cost of space travel.

From explosive test flights to controlled descents and tower-catch attempts, every launch is bringing humanity closer to rapid, airline-style access to space.

The future of rocketry isn’t just about reaching space… it’s about coming back smarter, faster, and ready to fly again. 🌍🔥
