Congratulations to the Class of 2026 for graduating this weekend!! ✨ We wanted to highlight one of our recent seniors, Karel who graduated with a degree in Global Studies and minor in Psychology! Karel was involved in a sustainability LLC, the Environmental Leadership Program, Global Leaders Program and Global Peer Ambassadors, among many other accomplishments! She studied abroad at Yonsei University in South Korea and will be returning there as a Fulbright recipient to work as an English Teaching Assistant. During her time abroad she interned at Korean Company and volunteered as an elementary school English teacher for a Korean human rights NGO! Congratulations Karel and good luck with your future endeavors! 🎓🤍🌏 by @lasglobalstudies

As we approach graduation, we want to recognize each of the seniors for their hard work here at Illinois! Our first Senior Spotlight✨ is on one of our very own GSLs, Ella Pesch! Ella is graduating with degrees in Global Studies and Psychology, and a certificate in Global Security! Aside from GSLs, she was also involved in IllinoiSkating, the Undergraduate Law Review, wrote articles for IGR and was a part of a PS research group!
