Today, I walked in missing my mom, and God met me right where I was. Through the kindness of a client and her grandmother, He reminded me that He still sees me, comforts me, and knows exactly what I need.

Today, I had a complete emotional meltdown on my way to a lash appointment.

Tomorrow marks 9 years since my mom passed away from glioblastoma.

Some days grief feels distant.
Some days it feels like it happened yesterday.

As I laid here after my appointment, staring at the wall, I thought about how many women walk through my door carrying things nobody can see.

Grief.
Heartbreak.
Anxiety.
Stress.
Fear.
Loss.

We show up with our lashes grown out, our hair undone, or our skin needing care, but often what needs the most attention is the heart.

One of the greatest privileges of what I do isn’t applying lashes.

It’s listening.
Praying.
Encouraging.
Creating a space where women can simply breathe for a moment.

Beauty services may be what brings you through the door, but my prayer is that you leave feeling lighter than when you arrived.

Today reminded me that healing isn’t linear, and missing someone you love never really expires.

If you’ve lost someone, I see you.
If you’re carrying something heavy, you’re not alone.

And Mom, not a day goes by that I don’t think about you. ❤️
