✨The PATCH TEST appointment is officially LIVE on the booking site!

First, I have to give a major shout-out to Shanae🥺🫶🏽. Thank you for continuing to trust LLX through this difficult process of figuring out why your eyes have been experiencing severe redness after your appointments.

After testing multiple glues, I’m realizing it’s time to switch up our entire base! We are moving past just changing the adhesive and looking into our lash shampoo and eye patches.

Come back next week to see Part 2, where Shanae tries a completely new hypoallergenic base. Let’s hope this—in addition to taping her eyes down to prevent chemical burns—is the ultimate cure! 🫶🏽

Stop booking volume sets just because you’re scared of poor retention. 🫣

I used to be the lash tech who told clients to upgrade to volume just to make their sets last longer. I thought the extra density would hide the shedding. I was wrong! When a volume set sheds incorrectly, it just leaves awkward, noticeable gaps—not the clean look you actually wanted.

The truth? Any set you desire—even a classic set—should look beautiful and last 4+ weeks if your tech is lashing 100% of your natural lashes with proper isolation and the right base placement. You deserve to love your lashes from day 1 to day 30, not just for the first 3 days of vacation.

✨ Welcome back to another episode of LASHAY SAID IT!!! ✨

Girl… is your morning lash routine doing TOO much?! 😂

Clusters, mascara, strip lashes, glue… and then you have to do it all over again tomorrow?! 😩

And honestly? Lash extensions can make your beauty routine SO much easier.

No applying lashes every morning.
No mascara.
No trying to get your strips even.
No spending forever getting your eyes together.

Just wake up, wash your lashes for 2–3 minutes, brush them out, and keep it moving🤏🏽🤏🏽

Today’s topic: Things I’d Consider If I Were Looking for a Lash Tech

Finding the right lash tech can be exciting… but let’s be honest, it can also be overwhelming!!! There are SO many things to consider when deciding who you want trusting your lashes.

So, I’m here to help you narrow down some of those “What should I be looking for?” questions!!🧘🏽‍♀️

But if you remember nothing else, remember these 3 things:

1. Is the lash tech confident in their work?
Are they showing their own point of view, style, and expertise? Or just recreating what everyone else is doing?

2. Is there a consistent pattern of red, watery, or irritated eyes on their page?
Pay attention to their client results. One isolated photo doesn’t tell the whole story, but if irritation seems to be a consistent pattern, that’s something I’d consider.

3. Do they offer an eye analysis?
Your eyes aren’t one-size-fits-all! A good lash tech should consider your eye shape, natural lashes, and desired look before choosing a lash style.
