Your appointment time matters. 🤍

I’ve had clients tell me they’ve previously had their lashes done in 30 minutes to an hour. Of course, with experience you naturally become more efficient, but for me, a lash appointment isn’t about how quickly I can get you in and out.

There are around 90–160 natural lashes on each upper eyelid, and every single one needs to be considered.

Every appointment starts with a consultation, followed by a lash bath, eye pads and tape, priming and selecting the right lengths, curls and styling for your natural lashes.

Then comes the application — careful isolation, selecting the right extension for each lash and creating handmade fans for volume sets.

At the end, I’ll bond, brush through, check the separation and placement, take your photos and make sure you’re happy with your finished set.

I allow my appointments the time they need because it’s not a race. I want to be able to focus on the detail, your comfort, your natural lash health and creating a set that’s completely tailored to you.

So when you book with me, you’re not just booking a time slot. You’re giving your lashes the time they deserve. 🤍

Have you ever had a coin placed on your eye during a lash appointment? 😂

There’s actually a reason for it.

Sometimes, even though your eyes feel completely closed, they’re not actually shut all the way. You might not even realise your eyes are slightly open or fluttering, which can allow a little adhesive vapour to reach the eye and cause some temporary redness or irritation.

So if I ever place a little coin on your eyelid, it’s simply to add a tiny bit of gentle weight and help keep your eye comfortably closed. 👀

A few other things that can help:

🤍 Avoid lots of caffeine & energy drinks beforehand — they can make your eyes more twitchy or fluttery.

🤍 Contact lenses must be removed before your appointment.

🤍 Come with clean, makeup-free eyes and avoid heavy creams or oils around the eye area.

🤍 If you have hay fever, allergies, dry or already-irritated eyes, let me know beforehand.

🤍 And if anything feels uncomfortable at any point, please tell me. I can reposition or adjust the tape/pads until everything feels comfortable.

A little temporary redness can happen and doesn’t automatically mean you’ve had a reaction. Significant swelling, itching, pain or ongoing irritation is different and should always be taken seriously.
