My third pair of New Balance 990v6… The community navy colorway. and at this point, I think I have a problem. 😂

Because once you try the 990v6, there’s a very high chance you’re finished. Stuck. Trapped. No escape. You start with one pair, tell yourself it’s enough, and somehow you’re back buying another colourway like you’re collecting evidence.

The comfort on this thing is honestly ridiculous. Walking in a 990v6 feels like walking on a cloud that somehow has excellent arch support.

I’ve had this colourway for a little over two months now, and the funny thing is, I genuinely haven’t been able to stop wearing it. It has quietly become that pair I reach for without even thinking.

The cushioning, the build, the silhouette, the overall feel…Third 990v6 in the collection. Definitely not the last.

There’s a story behind the way I carry myself.

I’ve spent years building businesses, taking risks, solving problems, dealing with pressure and learning that success is rarely as glamorous as it looks from the outside.

From moving cars with AIL Autos, keeping things moving with AIL Logistics, to building Xtrim Detailing, I’ve learned that you have to be willing to start, stay consistent and keep showing up even when nobody is watching.

But somewhere along the way, I also learned that life isn’t just about the work.

You have to enjoy the man you’re becoming.

Every now and then, you have to step away from the spreadsheets, the cars, the deliveries and the endless decisions… put on something you like and remember that there’s a person behind the businesses too.

So yeah, I’ll handle business. I’ll chase the next goal. I’ll put in the work. And I’ll still dress up, take a few pictures and enjoy the moment. 😂

Because building a life you’re proud of should include enjoying the journey too. by @lashlarule
