SERIES: Preparing for the PORTLAND WEDDING SHOW ! Part 1 .

Let me Introduce myself:

My name is Rene Gamet. I’ve been a licensed hairstylist and makeup artist for over 20 years. I never feel like I’m old enough to say those numbers. Because I like to say -young forever, baby! I hail from the beautiful island of Kauai, where a piece of my heart will always remain.

It’s hard to say whether I have a passion for the beauty industry or just a passion for perfection.
My brain loves to solve a puzzle & improve something. My heart, eyes, and ears love to feast on the beauty that already exists.

My interests include Jiu Jutsu, martial arts, singing, dancing, writing, drawing, cooking, dining on delicious food & desserts, adventuring, musicals, romantasy books, and making people laugh!

If we’re not trying to laugh to cope with our problems, what are we even doing?

These days you can find me waddling around the salon . Finishing up my last two months before Baby # 3 comes in April. Our 2 girls (9 & 5) very excited to meet their long awaited baby brother. So is my husband James to whom he will be named after. J.A.G

I am very excited to step into this new chapter where I am dedicating most of my time to my family first. And then all things wedding Hair And Makeup.

IT’S A MATTER OF SKILL. PERIOD. ✨

Beautiful bridal hair doesn’t just happen. It’s practiced, refined, and built on a whole lot of attention to detail.

And those details? They’re kind of my obsession.

The placement of every pin. The balance and symmetry. The way the curls fall, how the shape complements your face, how the style holds, and making sure those little unwanted puffs and flyaways aren’t stealing the show.

Because here’s the thing…

A gorgeous wedding photo taken from 20 feet away can capture all the love and happiness in the world. But it won’t necessarily show you the craftsmanship behind the hairstyle.

And not all hairstyling is created equal.

You’re not just paying for someone to do your hair. You’re investing in their ability to execute the look you’ve been dreaming of.

Natural Makeup isn’t less artistry.

It’s blended and balanced .

No where to hide contour or blush just thrown on wherever

It’s intentional.
