Peptides are everywhere in the lash lift industry… but are they actually doing what people think? 👀Some peptides have been studied for supporting lash growth, but there’s an important detail.They need to be applied at the base of the lashes, where the hair follicle is, and they need consistent daily use to have a chance of working.That’s why, in our opinion, adding peptides to Step 1 or Step 2 of a Korean Lash Lift doesn’t provide meaningful benefits. Those products are only on the lashes for a short period of time, they’re used just once every 6 to 8 weeks, and they’re not applied to the follicle itself.Where peptides can make sense is in a lash serum. A serum that is applied daily along the lash line, allowing the ingredients to build up over time, which is how these peptides are intended to be used.Not every trendy ingredient belongs in every product.
