“Las Olas Tennis Club” - Debut album out now!

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Las Olas Tennis Club

We recorded this album in less than an hour, yet it was over five years in the making. Most of these songs were written in 2020 but a couple of expired visas interrupted us from making the album we wanted to.

Five years later with everyone is back in the country, we rented an airbnb on the Florida Georgia border, setup a “studio” and pressed record. This album is what came out of the first night.

It was like no time had passed at all. Most of the songs we recorded in a single first take which took less than an hour. Then we overdubbed vocals and solos and had @aaronjacobthorla_ and @mishasmeen come over and beef up the sound with keyboards and huge vocals. Sent the tracks over to @_ralde in Spain and this is the result.

Thanks a ton to everybody who helped and supported us!

Running in circles is a song about life, it is about migrating to the US and its hurdles, making music, going back home, and then coming back to the US in an endless loop of experiences. by @lasolasmusic
