First recovery of the year‼️ I got the call at 7AM Wednesday morning after Bill had shot this buck at 6:16 Tuesday night. They had great blood for about 150 yards and then just like that it completely cut out. Not another drop of blood. They made the best decision to back out and call us to come take a look. After flying for a couple of minutes I located the buck only about 100 yards farther from where they lost blood, bedded down in a pocket in the swamp. He was still alive when I located him at 10:00. We decided to give him a little time and came back at 1:00 and he had expired in the same bed. Making for an exciting recovery on this nice public land swamp buck. by @last_light_drone_services

After a long gun season, she was able to make it happen with about 30 minutes left. We picked up blood about 40 yards after the shot site and followed it a little ways but with the darker blood and beds we decided to back out and fly the drone up. We found him bedded down alive but not doing well, so we waited a couple hours and flew it again. This time he was expired, making for a great season. by @last_light_drone_services

Congrats to Kurt on his nice buck behind his house. He came in about 20 yards made a good shot but just wanted to confirm it with the drone before kicking it up. We flew the drone and found it right away laying on its side but still alive. A couple hours later we returned and he was laying in the same exact spot but this time was expired. Congrats again on a very nice buck. 🦌 by @last_light_drone_services

After searching the wood line, standing corn and marsh, this buck was located dead in the bean field. Only about 20 minutes of fly time until we located him. Congrats on your nice buck! 🦌 by @last_light_drone_services
