LASUSTECH Issues 3-Month Deadline for Lagos Poly Graduates to Collect Certificates Before Fee Review

The management of Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), formerly known as Lagos State Polytechnic, has issued a public notice directing all uncollected certificates from 1979 to 2021 to be retrieved within a three-month window before an upward review of collection fees takes effect.

According to an official announcement signed by the University Registrar, David S. Ogungbe, the collection exercise is specifically aimed at graduates of the former Lagos State Polytechnic who completed their academic programs between 1979 and 2021 but have yet to collect their original certificates.

Key Details for Certificate Collection:
Venue: Examinations and Records Unit, Registry Department, LASUSTECH Main Campus, Ikorodu.

Duration: October 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026 (3 Months).
Service Hours: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (Mondays through Fridays).

The university administration emphasized that the current processing fees will only remain valid throughout the three-month grace period.

Following the December 31 deadline, LASUSTECH will implement an upward review of the existing collection fees.

"All concerned graduates are strongly advised to take advantage of this opportunity and collect their certificates within the stipulated period," Registrar Ogungbe stated in the release.

Affected alumni are advised to visit the university’s Registry Department during official working hours with valid identification and necessary clearance documents to facilitate a seamless collection process.
