The true story behind the GRAND CABINET.

This monumental piece was commissioned by a prominent New York art gallery. While based on a French design, its physical and artistic reality was brought to life entirely in Hungary, crafted as a high-end work of art.

Photographed by Sándor Újvár. Because the mirrors reflected the entire surroundings, a white curtain was used as a backdrop—the exact same white background you see in the official photographs published by the gallery.

Mirrors do not lie. That is why this cabinet reflects not just an image, but the truth of who the actual artist and true creator behind the work is.

The true story behind the original OVAL CABINET!! 🔍✨

Since 2005, the visions of an American art gallery and a French designer have been brought to life right here in Hungary, inside a workshop in Kecskemét.

Fast forward to 2017: based on the French designer's concept, the very first, original OVAL CABINET was born. The unique surface and patina of this iconic piece were fully realized based on the signature style of László Taska.

This finished masterpiece reflects true Hungarian quality. The cabinet was also photographed for the very first time here in Hungary, right inside my own home. These stunning photographs were captured by the renowned Hungarian art photographer, Sándor Újvári, which the gallery later featured across their media platforms!! 📸🏡

I am incredibly grateful that the international design community has shown such immense appreciation for this Hungarian creation among many others. True craftsmanship knows no borders! 🛠️🇭🇺🖤
