My feed has been flooded with “Dai Dai” since the FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show, and I’m not complaining.Watching @shakira and @burnaboygram perform live at the New York New Jersey Stadium was pure energy. Last weekend (July 11–12), I traded my race shirt for a crew shirt… and it turned out to be one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had.From traveling all the way from Pasig to Alabang before sunrise to spending two action-packed days at Sip Plus Games inside The Filinvest Tent, I got to witness the inaugural event from the other side of the competition.Being part of the crew reminded me that every successful event is powered by people working behind the scenes. It was my very first volunteer crew experience, and I couldn’t have asked for a better one.I also got to reconnect with familiar faces, meet amazing new friends, and witness the growing world of hybrid sports up close. Seeing celebrities, elite athletes, and first-timers all share the same arena made the event even more exciting. It also made me wonder if I have what it takes to become a hybrid athlete someday. Pero sa ngayon, running muna. Palakas muna ako, then baka hybrid sports naman ang susunod.Nakakapagod yung biyahe at buong weekend, pero sobrang worth it. Ang daming bagong natutunan, bagong nakilala, at mga moments na hindi ko makakalimutan. Thank you Coach @alloutpau and @iamgiap for the guidance. Thank you SPG Crew.
