Today, I’m going to let myself be loved. ❤️

Thank you for every birthday wish, call, text, post, prayer, gift, and expression of love. I don’t take any of it for granted.

Sometimes when you spend so much of your life pouring into others, you have to remind yourself that it’s okay to receive too. So today, I’m receiving it all. I’m grateful for another year of life, another year of purpose, and for the people God has allowed me to do life and ministry with.

Discernment isn’t just asking God, “Can I have this?”

It’s being willing to ask yourself, “Why do I want it in the first place?”

Because something can look good, sound good, and even appear God-honoring while being driven by comparison, validation, insecurity, ego, or ambition that God never planted.

Before you chase the opportunity, check the motive.
Before you build it, ask who gave you the desire to build.
Before you call it purpose, make sure it actually came from God. 🙏🏾

Maturity is being willing to surrender even the things you genuinely want when you realize God isn’t the source of the desire.

Don’t just ask God to bless what you want. Ask Him to teach you what to want. ❤️‍🔥📖

God never called us to have an on-and-off relationship with Him. 🔥

There is a difference between knowing how to function in the power of God and living a life that consistently reflects Him.

Spiritual maturity isn’t measured by how well you can pray when someone hands you a microphone, how powerfully you can quote Scripture when it’s time to minister, or how quickly you can access your gift when the moment demands it. The greater evidence is what happens when there is no stage, no audience, and no opportunity to perform.

God isn’t just interested in what we can turn on. He’s after a life that stays surrendered. 🙏🏾

One of the greatest dangers for a believer is becoming so familiar with what God used to do through you that you don’t recognize when something has changed.

You can still know the words. Still know when to shout. Still know how to pray. Still know how to preach, sing, serve, and function — and yet be operating from memory instead of His presence.

That’s why relationship with God can never become routine. Yesterday’s anointing cannot substitute for today’s consecration. 🙏🏾

“Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof…” — 2 Timothy 3:5
