Forever grateful 🙏 by @lateef_ah4ever

We came to university for a degree, but somewhere along the way, I found a sister. ❤️

From two girls meeting in 100 level to becoming such a significant part of each other’s lives, what a beautiful journey it has been. Years of memories, countless laughs, random adventures, endless gist, growth, and moments I wish I could relive over and over again.

My friend, my personal hairstylist, my shell, my gist partner, my confidant, and a sister I never knew university would give me. 😂❤️

Looking back at how far we’ve come, I can’t help but feel grateful. We’ve grown through different seasons, made memories in the most unexpected ways, and become so much more than the girls who first met in university.

University gave me a degree, but it also gave me you, and that’s a gift I’ll forever cherish.

If I had to do this journey all over again, I’d still choose a version of it that leads me to you.

Here’s to all the memories we’ve made, the ones still waiting for us, and a friendship I hope life continues to be kind to.

Always my girl. Always my shell. Always my sister. I love you! @lydi_a2313 🥹❤️ by @lateef_ah4ever

October was one for the books.
A month of milestones, beautiful memories, answered prayers and moments worth keeping. A chapter I’ll always look back on with a grateful heart.
Alhamdulillah for it all. 🤍✨

If there is one person whose life has taught me that resilience is more than just a word, it is you, Mummy.

You are, without a doubt, the most hardworking woman I know. I have watched you navigate life, face difficult days, and keep going even when things were far from easy. I have seen you make the most of what you have, find reasons to be grateful, and keep showing up regardless of what life throws your way.

From you, I learnt that giving up is not always an option. I learnt that some days will test you in ways you never imagined, but you must find the strength to keep moving. You taught me resilience, contentment, perseverance, and the beauty of having a grateful heart, even when life isn’t going exactly as planned.

And as I look at how far I have come, I realise that so much of the woman I am becoming is a reflection of the woman you have always been.

There are things words will never fully capture. There are sacrifices I may never completely understand, and there are battles you have fought that I may never know the full weight of. But one thing I know for certain is that I am better because I have you.

Mummy, you are a gem. A real gem. And if there is anything I hope to carry with me for the rest of my life, it is the strength of your spirit, the contentment of your heart, and the determination with which you face life.

Today, as I celebrate this milestone, I celebrate you, too. Because while this achievement bears my name, the lessons that helped me get here carry your fingerprints.

Thank you for being my mother. Thank you for the lessons, the strength, the example, and the countless ways you have shaped my life.

If I become even half the woman you are, I will consider myself incredibly blessed.

I love you, Mummy. More than these words could ever explain. ❤️🥹 by @lateef_ah4ever
