In this video, we demonstrate how LatencyFix Standalone measures the exact latency of external hardware in a studio signal chain.

For this example, we connected an audio interface and an external delay effect and measured two routing scenarios:
• First with 600 ms of delay
• Then with 500 ms of delay

LatencyFix accurately detects both values, as shown on screen.

You’ll also notice an additional 29.98 ms, which comes from the analog-to-digital conversion latency of the audio interface — proving that LatencyFix measures the total real latency introduced by your hardware chain.

This makes it easy to measure latency from:
• rack processors
• pedalboards
• external FX
• converters
• hybrid studio routing chains
