Omg I am literally over here preparing for my 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 summit that I was invited to speak at!! 🥳🥳 I still can’t believe I’m saying those words out of my mouth. 😭🙌🏽

I shared with everybody a couple of months back that I was invited to be a part of something so amazing, but I couldn’t share the details at the time.

𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙄 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙣𝙚𝙬𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚!! 🥹

I will be one of the speakers at the 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐦 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭, happening October 20–22, and I am SO excited!! 🥰🎤

𝗜’𝗺 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝘆 𝟯𝗖 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺… 𝗜’𝗺 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲. 😅

These past couple of months have been a financial rollercoaster, and as crazy as it sounds, I’m actually grateful that I didn’t wait until my finances were completely A1 before I started sharing this journey.

Because the 𝟑𝐂 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 isn’t something you use 𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥 you have everything together.

𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫.🩷

Right now, I’m using my own system to track what’s coming in and going out, prioritize bills, identify income gaps, adjust when life happens, and figure out what needs my attention next.

And THIS part matters too.

The messy middle.
The adjustments.
The hard decisions.
The small wins.
The moments when the numbers simply don’t work and more income really is needed.

I’m not sharing financial perfection. I’m sharing a system that’s helping me create more clarity, structure, and control even when my financial situation isn’t perfect.

So from one mom to another…. the struggle can be REAL. 😩😂 But you don’t have to wait until your finances are perfect to start taking control of them.

I’ve been sharing more of my financial journey lately, but there’s a part of the story I don’t think I’ve ever really explained…🩷

𝐈 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐈 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲, 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲.

Don’t get me wrong, sometimes more income absolutely is needed. But I’ve learned that understanding the money you already have can also help create more financial peace.

When I was younger and preparing to move into my own place with my kids, I created my own little way of managing and setting aside money without even realizing it was a system😅

𝐒𝐍: 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬.🥹🩷

That little system helped me save enough to furnish our new place and 𝐩𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐇 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠!🙌🏽

But over time, I lost sight of what I had been doing. Eventually, I found myself praying to get back to the financial peace, freedom, and control I once had.

I kept thinking:
𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘐 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘫𝘰𝘣. 𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘐 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘺.

But I had to acknowledge something else:

𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐈 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧.

And while praying for God to show me a way forward, I was reminded of what I had done years ago.

So I brought that system back… 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞, 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫.💪🏽🩷

Now I’m taking what I’ve learned through my own journey and turning it into something that can help other moms create more clarity and intention around their money.

It’s not an overnight fix, and everyone’s financial situation is different. But understanding your money can give you a place to start. 🩷

𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲. 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞.

This journey is a big part of what inspired 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 and the system I’m creating today.🩷 by @latikaproctor

It’s 𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

I am knocking these certification programs out 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐁𝐘 𝐎𝐍𝐄!! 🥳🙌🏽

Since joining this program and community at the end of January, I have completed THREE different 5-Week Certification Training Programs AND ONE 10-Week Challenge! 😳👏🏽

And when I really sit back and think about it, I have done more to move my business forward since joining this community than I have in other programs I’ve been a part of.

I’m not just learning, I’m actually 𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 what I learn, building things for my own business, and gaining so much more confidence in what I’m creating and the direction I’m going🩷

I truly believe I’m on the right path and that what I’m building will eventually help so many other women🥹🩷

The journey so far has NOT been easy or smooth sailing 😅, but it has been sooo worth it.

Whewww… I am SO proud of myself, but I also have to learn to stop putting so much pressure on myself😮‍💨😅

I was THREE WEEKS behind in my 5-week CRM (Customer Relations Management) Certification training.

And today, while my kids were at school…

𝐈 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝟑 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐇𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊!!! 😳🙌🏽🥳

THREE WEEKS. IN. ONE. DAY. 😭😂

Between getting my kids ready for back-to-school, doing hair, taking care of home, working, handling bills, building my business and just LIFE life-ing… I fell behind.

But today I had the opportunity to sit down, focus and GET IT DONE🩷

Now, was completing three weeks of assignments in one day necessary? Probably not😂 And that's something I'm working on, giving myself grace and realizing that everything doesn't have to happen RIGHT NOW.

But I am still going to celebrate this win because I'm proud of myself! 🥳

And the things I learned?! 👀

Email marketing, automated workflows, creating communities, building courses and so much more.

My brain currently has about 972 ideas running through it. 😂😂 But instead of trying to do everything at once, I'm learning to slow down, create the plan and execute ONE thing at a time.

I can’t believe I’m sending BOTH of my babies into milestone school years at the same time. 🥹🩷 One is starting her last year of middle school, while my other one is starting his last year of high school. My baby girl is an 8th grader and my Sonshine is a SENIOR! 😭🎓

Yeah…This Mom is NOT ok 😂🥹

And whewww… getting to this first day of school has been a JOURNEY😮‍💨😂 Between getting them prepared and making sure they had everything they needed, doing both of their hair, making time to take son to get his shape up, going to Back-to-School events, getting my house back in order, working, AND trying to handle bills at the same time… your girl has been BUSY😩

At one point I did NOT think I was going to get everything done in time. But being the type of person I am, I pushed through and got it DONE even if some things came together at the very last minute🙌🏽🩷

And I have to take a moment to celebrate MYSELF too🥹🩷 Not only for getting everything done, getting my babies ready for their first day, and taking care of my responsibilities but also for being that Mom who can do hair!😂🥰

Squeezing in the time and making a plan to get BOTH of their hair done 2 days before school started was NOT easy.

🚨𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭🚨

Here I am, back out on the grind!! 😂

Earlier I was organizing my bills, looking at my money, and thinking about everything I have to pay AND get done 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊…and I’m not going to lie.

I was freaking out. 😩 I could literally feel the pressure on my shoulders.

Right now, I have more due than what my current income can realistically produce at its current pace, along with other responsibilities that need my time and attention.

And I realized…I have to 𝐩𝐢𝐯𝐨𝐭.

I follow my Cashflow System faithfully, but life is going to life 😂 Expenses pile up, priorities change, and sometimes what normally works has to temporarily change to accommodate what you need 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐰.

For me, that means temporarily changing how I allocate my money and being intentional about every dollar.

But I also can’t spend every waking hour trying to make more money while neglecting everything else. 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 have to work together.

So instead of looking at EVERYTHING thinking, “How am I going to get all of this done AND pay all of this?!” 😩

I reminded myself of my own 3Cs:

𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐂𝐎𝐎𝐋. 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐌. 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐃.

Stop looking at everything at once.
Prioritize what needs my attention first.
Adjust the plan.
Handle 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞.

And no…I didn’t say forget the bills after my little pep talk (even though I wanted to 😂).

I still have things to pay and things to get done, but I don’t feel nearly as overwhelmed as I did trying to mentally carry 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞.

And moments like this remind me why I created the 𝟑𝐂 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦.

I’m not sharing my financial journey because everything is perfect.

One thing I've learned about managing money is that it's sooo much easier to tell my money where to go 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐈 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐝 than to look at my account afterward wondering where it went😅

It doesn't have to be some complicated budget either.

Sometimes it's simply sitting down and saying:

➡️ 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐨 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬
➡️ 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬
➡️ 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐝
➡️ 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐮𝐩𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐬
➡️ 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐜𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞? 𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭😉

Having a plan doesn't mean everything will always go according to plan because LIFE will definitely life😩😂

But having some type of direction gives me a lot more peace than just spending and hoping everything works itself out.

I'm learning that financial peace isn't always about making more money.

Sometimes it starts with being more intentional with what I already have🩷 by @latikaproctor

I stepped out the other night and let me tell you, that outing was sooo needed!!!😩🥰

For those who know me personally and those who have been following me for a while, you know my life usually consists of work, my kids, their activities, building my business, taking care of home and just putting everybody else first.

I don’t really take enough time to enjoy myself, relax, and just do something for ME.

But Monday night I did just that and I truly enjoyed myself😊

I’m definitely going to start planning more outings, doing more things I enjoy and making time for myself too.
