So when I bought my house, I KNEW I wanted to turn one of the guest bedrooms into a walk in closet…Shoutout to my Brother @landon.leon for literally turning this into my favorite room…He’s so talented lol…

This is truly the definition of My plans vs God’s Plans…for the absolute longest, I never envisioned myself a homeowner. I felt like it wasn’t for me, I actually enjoyed the carefreeness of renting but something changed this year…So as my lease was near being up, I finally decided to step out on faith and said that I was going to start the homeownership process at the end of the year…I found a new apartment (my intentions was to save up for a few months before I got the ball rolling), put in an application, paid the application fee but my friends and family kept asking what are you waiting for…I explained my reasons and they wasn’t trying to hear it lol…so I was like, well I’ll just apply for a mortgage now and see what all I need to do to put myself in a better position to really start looking in November…But God said hold up lol…this was May 17th, 3 days after I got approved for my new apartment and had my move in date…I applied for the loan and was approved in minutes…I was so shocked cause that wasn’t MY PLAN…that’s when I realized that God was truly in control…any time I had doubt, I had to remind myself who plan this was and take myself out of the equation cause clearly, this was bigger than me…I’m soooo excited to start this new chapter in my life…I may have lost my security deposit but i gained a home…like the saying goes, SHE BELIEVED SHE COULD, SO SHE DID!!! Introducing Dr. Hebert, PharmD Homeowner 😘😘😘

Come with me on a Girls Trip to Cartagena, Columbia!!
If your interested in our itinerary, comment “CARTAGENA”

This was one of our Annual #TravelingDocs trips and it did not disappoint! Columbia just might be one of my Top trips! The Country is so rich in Culture, Amazing Food & Great people!

This was my first time in #SouthAmerica so I’m Blessed to have learned so many new things! My favorite was probably my tour with @blacklegacyexperiences where we took a day trip to San Basilio de Palenque, the first ‘free town’ for Africans in the Americas.

All In all, I can’t wait to go back again!!!
