There's a chill in the air, which means I just paid my Duke Energy bill. Also, it's finally starting to feel like Fall in the Carolinas. I've got all kinds of shows and stuff - hosting, performing, emceeing, even playing some Dungeons & Dragons for a live audience. Details are always on my website (link in bio) - check there too, because I usually add shows as the month goes on.

P.S. Sorry this flyer is so late - I spent way too long working on it, so if you hate it, don't tell me. If you love it you can tell me though. by @laughwithcraig

But if there’s one thing I’ve learned - besides how to navigate hospital
waiting rooms like a pro - it’s that resilience isn’t about pretending
everything’s fine. It’s about laughing anyway, showing up anyway, and
getting through the hard stuff without losing yourself.

I’m Craig Collin. I’m a stand-up comedian, keynote speaker, and possibly the world’s most overqualified cancer patient. I help people in high-
pressure situations (corporate execs, healthcare pros, and families facing a diagnosis) find strength in the struggle - and a few punchlines along the way.

🎤 Let’s laugh through it. Because the alternative? Not nearly as fun. by @laughwithcraig

Last night was CRAAAAAZY! Over 150 people attended our Comedy Bingo show at the Swanee Theatre in Kannapolis. And they were THE BEST audience. Big laughs, big smiles, and so many nice people coming up after the show to te us how much they enjoyed it. The third picture is just to show you the size of the audience, not their engagement - they were locked in during the performances but when the bingo portions happened (as in the picture) they were locked in on their cards.

Lauren Ansley put together a fantastic lineup as always: my fellow comics Kim Coleman, Jen Altizer, and Jordan Centry all crushed it. Huge thanks to the Swanee Theatre and their staff - sound, seating, snacks - everything was in order and ran without a hitch. 10/10, would do it again in a heartbeat! taken in The Swanee Theatre by @laughwithcraig

Day 2 of the NC Comedy Festival was even more fun! I got to meet a TON of new people, and perform at The Idiot Box on a killer lineup with comedians from all over the country. So much talent and diversity of styles on stage last night! Huge thanks to @jennie_stencel for putting everything together and keeping the show high energy, to @steve_lesser for making us sound amazing, and to the audience for being fun and engaged. Everyone did a great job - it truly was an honor to be among such great talent all evening. Three days left of the festival - if you are Greensboro-adjacent, please grab tickets and come catch a show or three. You wont be disappointed!

Night one of fhe NC Comedy Festival was awesome! I ran into so many people I hadn't seen in months or even years; folks I've met on the road, in other cities and states, here there amd everywhere. The show at Brewer's Kettle was packed full of funny people. It was fun being on the same lineup as @thecrownjewelofthegreatlakes who I got to work with when he headlined at @idiotboxcomedy earlier this year. And @katherine.rogue.comedy who booked me to feature up in Blacksburg, VA what feels like years ago. And @twolcollin who did a show with me in Raleigh last summer. And @sethdpayne_ who I've worked with through Next Stop Comedy. And also new friends like @the_dudelander and @mike.gray.comedian coming from all over to be part of the festival. And my mam @thatcomictony for corralling all of our nonsense into an awesome show. I'm equally stoked for tonight's 7pm show at the Idiot Box. Huge thank you to @jennie_stencel for putting this all together and letting me be part of it. Every time I saw her, she was running around like a crazy person, but always had a smile on her face. Let's do it again tonight! 💙🎤 taken in The Brewer's Kettle Kernersville by @laughwithcraig

I'm especially excited to be part of the NC Comedy Festival for the first time ever (thank you x 1 million @jennie_stencel!!!) Come watch some of the funniest comics from around the country in and around historic Greensboro this week. Also: two shows at different theatres in different states on consecutive days. It's really gonna be an awesome week. See you out there! by @laughwithcraig

It's been so much fun to play a yearlong Dungeons & Dragons campaign / comedy show with these guys; I'm honestly sad it's all wrapping up next month. Kaya Allyn was an amazing DM (even if her non-player characters all ended up sounding a little too Swedish!) Nathan Baker and Chris Pattison were like my two manic little brothers that we had to constantly keep out of the medication drawer. And Nicole Kerbs was way too cool to be part of our nerdy little band, but she did it anyway. Thanks to Master Nate Bechtel for hooking us up with this sweet spot to game and making sure we always had snacks and a full party of 4 when one of us needed to tap out. And thanks to everyone who came out and participated in a show.

Our Crusaders of Chaos grand finale is on October 18th at Get Some Game. Will we succeed in our quest, or will we choke at the finish line? Knowing this group, its a 50/50 probability. Come find out with us! taken in Get Some Game by @laughwithcraig

⚔️🎲 MEET THE PLAYERS 🎲⚔️

Every great fantasy epic needs brave heroes.

We did not book those people. 💀

Instead, we gave a bunch of comedians character sheets, dice, questionable impulse control, and the fate of an entire magical realm.

Meet the absolute maniacs behind CRUSADERS OF CHAOS 🐉🔥

They’ve fought monsters.
They’ve made enemies.
They’ve ignored several extremely obvious warnings.
And against all fucking odds, they’re still alive.

For now. 👁️

🎲 Live D&D
😂 Comedians making terrible choices
💰 Audience bribes
😈 Consequences administered by your loving DM

Meet the idiots. Pick your favorite. Then come help them survive.

Or don’t.

⚔️🔥 CRUSADERS OF CHAOS RETURNS THIS SUNDAY 🔥⚔️

The road home is getting shorter.
The problems are getting bigger.
And our heroes are rapidly approaching the part of the adventure where bad decisions become historically significant. 💀

🎲 Crusaders of Chaos is a live D&D comedy show where comedians play through an ongoing fantasy campaign and the audience gets to interfere.

💰 Bribe the DM.
✨ Help the party.
😈 Absolutely ruin their lives.
⚔️ Watch a group of deeply unserious people make extremely serious choices.

We are entering endgame territory, and things are about to get weird.

Come see what happens when fantasy heroes meet consequences. 🐉🔥

SUNDAY. LIVE. CHAOS GUARANTEED.

Hmm, I guess maybe I DO only book my friends...

So much time, money, and work goes into producing comedy shows. If you're decent at it, most people never even see that effort. It's like a magic trick. I need to know all of that investment is going to result in a quality show for my paying audience.

So when I see (mostly unbooked) performers complain that producers only book their friends, I feel compelled to make a cheat sheet for them.

The people I work with consistently are people who check all of these boxes. Surprise twist: I also do consider them friends. It's almost as if the qualities that make you a safe bet on a lineup are the same ones that make you a desirable acquaintance.

Honestly, if you can just do the first two consistently, you'll probably get booked enough to be satisfied. And if you don't? Hey, maybe you will too - just probably not by me. by @laughwithcraig
