A huge thank you to @ehgameexpo for giving us the opportunity to come out this past July and bring Beyblade to a Kingston. Being able to meet new bladers, introduce people to the hobby, and connect with another community was such a special experience for us. When we started Launch Point, we were simply a small group of bladers who wanted to make Beyblade more accessible, welcoming, and less intimidating for people of all skill levels and ages. What started as a hobby project has connected us with so many incredible people, communities, conventions, and events — and we are beyond grateful for every person who has stopped by our setup, battled with us, asked questions, or supported what we are building. This really was the summer of Beyblade. And we’re not slowing down yet. We have more events coming up throughout the rest of the year, and we can’t wait to keep growing, meeting new people, and creating more spaces for everyone to let it rip. Thank you again to EH Game Expo for having us and for being part of such a memorable summer. Launch Point OBA is excited to officially bring a Beyblade X tournament to the first-ever VeilCon! Due to our shorter time slot, this event will be capped at 22 players, with the Top 4 advancing to the Main Stage. This is to ensure everyone has fun and we don’t have to rush! TOURNAMENT DETAILS: • 22-player maximum • Beyblade X only • 3-on-3 format • 5 rounds of Swiss • No repeating parts within your deck • Top 4 advance to the Main Stage • Top 4 matches will be played up to 7 points • Prizing available up to 3rd place and will be determined based on tournament turnout • Tournament registration will take place in person at the Beyblade arena • A valid VeilCon badge is required to participate • This tournament is 18+ as VeilCon is an 18+ convention • Beyblades will be available on site to borrow for anyone who does not own one but still wants to participate • Free play will be available before and after the tournament We recommend arriving early to secure your spot, as registration will be first come, first served and space is limited. Please have your 3-Bey deck ready before tournament play begins so we can keep matches running smoothly and stay within our allotted time. We can’t wait to see everyone at the arena for the first-ever VeilCon. *if this is your first time entering a tournament or playing Beyblade please message us! We would love to help support you in advance! Even if it’s just to inquire about verbiage (Swiss, 3on3 etc! We have your back!!!)* LET IT RIP! That’s a wrap on Day 1 of Fan Expo Canada! We had such a great first day exploring the con, and of course we were keeping our eyes out for BEYBLADE! 👀 We spotted quite a few Beys for sale throughout the convention! Nothing spotted at the Hasbro or EB Games booths, BUT definitely check out the @bananagames.hobby booth in the North Building at Booth 4319, located near the guest signing area! The Friendliverse area was also super cute and a great little spot for newer Bladers to try out some Bey battles! And don’t forget we will be over at Roundhouse Park this weekend running some battles of our own!!!
