Very grateful and very proud as we begin to wrap on New York Fashion Week this season for SS27. On to London, Milan, Paris!

I don’t know how many of you are aware that I was not always in fashion and never even expected to end up here, but it was certainly a very painful journey with an infinite amount of unexpected wins, and losses.

Every small opportunity or step forward each season is extra meaningful to me because of it. Thank you to all who have supported, inspired, shared, and encouraged me along the way. We are only getting started!

@ADVISRY SS27 - A STORYTELLING MASTERCLASS.

The three-part showcase leveraged the runway as a storytelling platform to highlight the lifestyle and perseverance through climates of trials and tribulations, ever present throughout the tick of onward moving generations.

Dapper straitjackets, restrained suiting, tied gowns, punk references, and fraying edges weave a story of struggle, rebellion, refusal to stand down, hard times, and resilience.

Meaning, through style. BRAVO - a well-earned standing ovation!

One of the best parts of my long work journey and becoming an entrepreneur has been all of the INCREDIBLE people I’ve met and surrounded myself with along the way!! Most of my friends are business owners right now, whether they were when I met them or not!! And that’s mind blowing to me!!!

VERY PROUD to say my friend and hair artist extraordinaire Akeem @akeem_hair has just opened his NEW VERY OWN SALON AKEEM SALON NYC!!! And you already know I was there on the very first day it opened the door!!! Best perfect dye and sleek blowout in the city and the only one I’ll trust with scissors near my head.

“No one’s hair is ‘difficult’ … sounds like they just never met anyone who knew what they were doing with it” No edit ever needed for this hair!

I am so proud and happy for you Keem, it’s been a long time coming @akeemsalon - Come see him in his new space in Chelsea / Manhattan on 23rd!! 🦋
