Hello 👋 So, this was my first bracelet design (sans rabbit focal) that I made a few weeks ago, after taking 2 months off from jewelry making over the summer. I offered it through HEAL @healeveryanimal and had no takers. I remembered my favorite bunny rescue @tranquilitytrail Holiday Silent Auction is coming in November! I had these beautiful wood decoupage rabbit focals by Annie @zenanniecreations created a charm for the bracelet and made a pair of matching earrings!

Featuring swirls of handmade lampwork glass beads by @nicolahebertglassbeads rosey rhodonite chips, pearlescent jade, shimmering glass crystals, and rich Italian Murano glass come together in a bracelet filled with color and character. Every turn reveals another beautiful detail down to the sweet eye catching rabbit focals 💗🐰💙

TT has many amazing supporters and they always bid generously on my jewelry designs 🫶 so I am very happy things ended up this way and these beauties will be raising funds for bunnies in need! 😊

Today’s the day! 🤍🐾 HEAL officially launches at 5 PM Pacific Time, and we can’t wait to share what we’ve been making for you.

You’ll find earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and handmade lampwork glass beads at healeveryanimal.org. Each piece began with a little creativity and a whole lot of love for animals.

You may spot a few items marked “Coming Soon.” They’re ready for their new homes, but we’re giving them a little more time before they can begin their journeys. They’ll be available for donation shortly! We promise! 🥰

I’ve been a little quiet here this past summer, and there’s a very good reason. ❤️

I’ve joined forces with my dear friend Laura Alman, an incredibly talented jeweler, and together we’ve created something that means so much to both of us: HEAL | Helping Every Animal with Love.

And yes—I’m still making glass beads! 😊 I haven’t put down the torch. But now many of the beads I create, along with Laura’s beautiful handmade jewelry, will be part of HEAL. Our website is almost ready to launch, and very soon you’ll be able to find my beads there as well.

For so many years, you have supported me—buying my work, encouraging me, sharing my creations and allowing me to keep doing something I truly love. I can’t begin to tell you how grateful I am for that support.

The world can feel awfully heavy these days, and Laura and I kept coming back to one simple thought: maybe we can use what we know how to do to make one small part of it a little better. For us, that means helping animals in need. 🐾

That’s how HEAL began.

Our handmade jewelry and glass beads will be offered as gifts in appreciation for donations made directly to the animal organizations we support. 100% of those donations go to the charities—not to us.

So this isn’t goodbye to Nicola Hebert Glass Beads. It’s simply the beginning of a new chapter—and I really hope you’ll come along with me.

💚 Calling all my Maker friends! 🐾

A very close friend of mine volunteers with SPCA Bradley County in Cleveland, TN. They secured some property and are hosting a fundraiser on August 1st including a silent auction to raise funds to build a new shelter! I have donated multiple pieces of my handmade jewelry and a few of my Jewelry Maker friends have as well 🫶 I’m hoping this post will inspire more of my wonderful Maker friends to donate items for their silent auction.

If you would be willing to donate something you’ve created, we would be so grateful. Every item helps raise funds for their new shelter and the animals they help and care for while they wait to find their forever homes 🐕 🐈‍⬛

I’ll personally cover the shipping costs, so donating will only cost you your time, talent and materials. The only catch is that items need to ship within the next few days so they arrive in time for the August 1st event.

🐾 I’m very excited to support the SPCA of Bradley County’s @spcabctn Tails & Treasures Silent Auction by donating a few of my handmade jewelry pieces! 💚

If you’re in the area of Cleveland, TN, join them on Saturday, August 1, for a fun day of shopping, food, adoptions, vendors, and a silent auction, all while supporting animals in need! If you can’t attend the event but would still like to support them please follow them and donate through the link in their bio.

The SPCA of Bradley County is in the process of building a new animal shelter to better serve homeless pets in their community. Every bid, purchase, and donation helps provide life saving care, including vaccinations, spay/neuter services, microchipping, and finding loving forever homes for these deserving animals.
