ANIMAL FARM RETURNS TO ARTS CENTRE MELBOURNE ‼️

Following an entirely sold out @darebinarts_live season in 2023, we are thrilled to be revitalising Animal Farm in the Fairfax Studio of @artscentremelbourne

Yesterday we opened Burnout Paradise @summerhallery as a part of @edfringe eeeee !!!

Huge. First international season for the insanely brilliant team that is @ponycamcollective and I’m simply delighted to be a part of it all.

I saw Burnout Paradise last @melbfringe and fucking lovedddd it, and now, post @rising.melbourne and @bondifest seasons, we’re here on the other side of the world. Epic. This city is a dream and we’re bringing all the treadmill chaos!!!

This day, I mean this DAY!! Life affirming, soul filling magic on beautiful Gurabana Gunggandji Country. Spent all day swimming with sea turtles and coral fish then devoured a mango. I think this might be what life is all about. Overwhelming awe 🤿🐠🪸🥭 by @lauraaldous

@elonmusk_ _official sent us on a mission to see who was worthy to go to Mars.... 🚀👽🧑‍🚀🪐☄️ turns out a few lucky, hard working, fair dinkum, Aussie battler legends who just so happen to be Australian pollies get front row seats (onya @scomo30 you get that extra leg room in the exit row). Everyone else gets front row seats to the end of the world, soz, we don’t make the rules @elonmusk_.official does ✌️❤️‍🔥 🤑 🥵 ❌

HEART EXPLODE 🥰🥹😭 on Sunday our fundraiser concert raised $4,144 for @girlsfromoz !!!

Holy moly, the choir girlies back together again performing onstage for the first time since we were kids. What a complete JOY. Blessed to know and love these women, extraordinary humans with enormous hearts and bucket loads of talent. In awe forever and always. It’s been so special putting together this concert to support the work of Girls From Oz.

@girlsfromoz is an organisation that’s been running programs in remote Indigenous communities since
2010. With a focus on First Nations girls and young women, these programs use the performing arts to foster confidence, self esteem, communication skills, leadership skills and encourage participants to take risks and get involved. I’m so bloody lucky to have witnessed the benefits of this program over nine years since I became an instructor in 2016.

Thank you for selling this concert out, thank you for the immense amount of love we all felt in that room, and THANK YOU for generously supporting @girlsfromoz 💚💚💚 by @lauraaldous

🍄 Wood Wide Web 🍄

Facilitating this experience for littles was one of my favourite creative projects ever ever ever!

Back in 2021 @barking_spider_creative made an extraordinary large scale interactive installation work exploring the invisible network of fungi and roots that exists beneath our feet, the “Wood Wide Web”

A beautiful play based metaphor where the kidlets were active agents of transformation within this underground world of tunnels, UV sensitive objects and exquisite sound and lighting design.

Non stop gasps of awe and wonder from all engaging with this work. Utter joy. A privilege to lead the kids through this world. Thank you @barking_spider_creative + @artplaykids
