The Bristol shuffle and shapes community is growing babyyyy 🌱 and with that comes an exciting new class schedule! 📢 @genie.shuffles is starting beginner classes from the end of January!

It’s been an absolute AGE since I’ve created a choreo… but this song came on my playlist the other day and when inspiration hits you can’t say no! 🙌🏼✨

Not the cleanest take, because I think I made it too challenging for my own abilities hahaha… but that’s fine since it’s not about getting the perfect take anyway ☺️

You know I’m training melbourne (or my version of it…) when the AF1s come out 👟🫡

Since it’s shuffle month in our weekly classes (so not a shape in sight) it’s a good push for me to also train my weaker side 🙌🏼 Sometimes you just need to stomp to some techno at unachievable speeds 😈

No, that’s not an exaggeration; last month, Angels Dance Academy, who are based in Bishopsworth, won the world championship in the Open Hip-Hop category 🏆 ✨

From international successes like Angels’, to grassroots movement projects, Bristol’s community dance scene is better than ever 💙 📈

There’s something pretty special about creating this choreo on a whim at Bunkers in Barcelona… then bringing it back to teach our fam here in Bristol… while having only met eachother eight months ago! 💖
