Nina had the BEST DAY EVER at Bluey’s Big Play! 💙🐾

She was dancing, singing, clapping and giggling the whole time! It was such a cute show! 🎈✨

If you have a Bluey Fan in your life, you HAVE to go party with Bluey & Family! I was even crying at the end, just like an episode of Bluey usually does to the grown ups! 🥲

No trip to New York City is complete without seeing a Broadway Show, and during my last trip I finally got to see The Great Gatsby! ✨

We had the best night out at the theater - we were so excited to see Sam Pauly (@sampauly), Corbin Bleu (@corbinbleu) and Reeve Carney (@reevecarney) & Eva Noblezada (the OG Daisy) (@livevamaria) perform, and they (along with the whole cast) were incredible! 🖤💵🥂

The costumes are beautiful and flashy, the sets and props are super cool, and the songs are so fun, what an amazing show @BwayGatsby is! 🖤✨

Spend the day with me at @americandream! ✨

We started the day at Nickelodeon Universe, which was sooooo freaking AWESOME! I have always wanted to visit, and omg it was even cooler in person! 🤩

They have so many amazing rides, and it’s truly perfect for every age, which is ideal for my family, since I have kids in different stages! 🎢🎡🎠

Next up I had to stop by their flagship @toysrus store! I miss having one nearby, so many great memories shopping there as a kid! 🧸🚂🪁🪀

Then we headed over to The Gameroom Powered by Hasbro, where we got to play so many games, including life size versions of the @hasbro games we all know and love! 🕹️👾🎲

I had such a fun time visiting @risenyofficial on my last trip to New York City!

As a former Social Studies Teacher and entertainment lover, I was geeking out waking through their museum, learning so much about New York’s history! 🗽

Their ride is super cool! Video clips don’t do it justice! I had so much fun and wanted to ride again as soon as it was over haha! 🤭

It was like, supernatural! 🥺🖤

I cannot believe that we made it to see Ari in her (our) hometown! Omg!!!!! 😭😭😭

You know how HARD I tried to get tickets for this show! From a huge presale fail, to never winning anything we entered for, I was ready to be outside the arena day of, fully dressed, hoping for a miracle..

And what do you know, just like magic, 5 days before the show that miracle happened! An email in my inbox that I thought was spam, turned out to be very real!!!!! 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹

What a night! We sang, we danced, we screamed, we cried! Ahh! 🖤☁️🧸

We are even bigger fans now having heard THE Ariana Grande sing live - wow! Her vocals are unmatched!!!

The “Twins”! 🩵

Cousins born a couple of weeks apart, but they do act like siblings though haha! 🥹

How freaking cute are they?! Thank goodness for FaceTime for making our long distance not feel so distant!

Unfortunately I can’t get hugs & kisses from my sweet nephew through the phone, so every moment together is extra sweet! 🩵

Well, our dream is over… 🇧🇷

This is not the post I ever wanted to make, but I wanted to highlight some beautiful moments we experienced this World Cup.

First of all, this is the first World Cup where my 2 older kids really understood the power of countries coming together to celebrate as one. The joy and unity soccer has brought to so many people has been incredible to see! 🥺

We had so much fun watching videos online as a family, seeing different cultures embracing and just being happy together. From silly banter from our “opponents” at the parking lot while we wore our Brasil jerseys, to strangers congratulating us on wins, which made my kids so proud. To me that is SO important, especially when the world feels so heavy lately.

I also got to share so much of my traditions and many stories, growing up in Brasil, telling them all about how World Cup Games shut down the entire country. I vividly remember watching the games with my grandparents, who are no longer with us, and now my own kids are creating beautiful memories with their own Brazilian Vovó & Vovô! 😭🇧🇷🙏🏼

From wearing verde, amarelo, azul e branco (Brasil’s colors) to screaming soooo loud for each goal, to telling everyone that Brasil is spelled with S, to learning that sure, they can yell PUTA QUE PARIU and PORRA at the TV, but never outside of the house lol! 🤣

I’m sad. I’m crying. I’m heartbroken for my country, but we move on, and we hope that when it’s all over, the world can feel more like it’s still the World Cup everyday! 🥹💚💛💙🤍
