Prompt 22/Day 30 - Home.

And so ends #tolkientober! I haven’t drawn so much in a month in a long time, nor had as much fun drawing in a while! I’m sure I won’t be posting as much for a bit, but I will hopefully be drawing in my sketchbook for fun and practice again 🙏
Also, I used @devinellekurtz wonderful brush pack again to quickly block in the garden ✨

Sam is slightly leaning on the hilt of a shovel with his hands clasped and looking sweetly at Frodo. Frodo has his hand on Sam's arm and is looking back into Sam's gaze. The colours are autumnal and warm. taken in The Shire, Middle Earth by @lauradrawstuff

Éowyn, based off of Jeanne d’Arc by Albert Lynch (which you can see on the last slide) Swipe for closeups! I learned a lot doing this, mostly that I don’t know how to render textures

Decided I may as well post this here seeing as it's been a while! I didn't get to make as much stuff as I would have liked in 2024, but I did manage to do some fibre arts and Tolkien art!
The last few months of 2024 have been especially trying, which goes double for December. I'm hoping 2025 will open some new doors for me but I'm feeling frustrated and stuck right now. Hopefully by my art vs artist post next year I'll be in a better place. by @lauradrawstuff
