Why you need a fake employee in your business.

Pick a name. Steve from Accounts. Nancy from client success.

Set up an email alias for them and let them do the pestering.

Steve chases invoices. Nancy bugs for contracts and files.

To your client it’s a team member doing the admin - not you.

Behind the scenes you might still be sending it, but the energy feels different.

You get to stay in your genius zone. And your clients think you’re a pro.

Social media isn’t for selling. by @laurahiggins

Creatives, do NOT hire without doing one step.

If you turn into a micromanager. If you struggle to delegate and let go. If you’ve hired only to end up redoing their work at 10pm at night. If you hired wrong in the past...

This is for you 💜 Save it and use it for your next hire. by @laurahiggins

I put together a tool that helps you find your Hot Take ideas ❤️‍🔥

And formulate it into a post idea with a solid hook, format and outline.

it’s truly badass to believe in yourself. by @laurahiggins

people pleasing is costing you more than you think ☝️

I used to be stuck in the people pleasing cycle. It felt productive, like I was being a “good” person...

But it was making me resentful, overworked and keeping me small.

“What if they don’t like me?” was running the show.

The thing that shifted it for me:

The most successful people aren’t universally liked.

They’re respected.

So now when I KNOW I need to have a tough conversation, I have it.

Every week you put it off is another week you’re carrying more than you should. by @laurahiggins

“Can you send me your prices?”

Every creative knows this question. And most of them panic and send the price straight away.

The lead goes quiet. And they spend the next week wondering if they’re charging too much.

Here’s the thing - the price isn’t the problem. The sequence is.

I’ve been coaching creatives on this for years and it’s the same mistake every single time - giving away the number before the prospect even understands why it’s worth it.

And if you want to confidently increase your rates without blowing up your business, I built the Profitable Pricing Workshop for you.

In this free workshop, I’ll give you the formula to double your rates. I’ll tell you what never to say when you raise them.

And how to actually launch your new price.
