A joke about yoga, from someone who has rearranged her entire life around yoga. Nothing is precious. by @lauralanerad

“Not tonight is a whole language.” Wrote Talk of Town on page 11 in this week’s The New Yorker on the inimitable @theboyabouttown of @peoplesny and our night out with its fearless leaders @mcdmmt and @margot_hk1. by @lauralanerad

Finally got my book children to stand still for a photo and smile. Seeing all of the different covers around the world is still a dream come true! My bebes I’m so proud of: two humor books, available in 8 languages and both optioned for TV and the two other books I’ve been lucky enough to contribute to:

“Cinderella” from the US, Netherlands, Korea, Japan, Poland and Russia.
“This Is Why You’re Single” from the US, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Romania and Taiwan.
Compilations: “McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern” where I had a story on attending a NXIVM recruitment event and an interview in “Callings.” by @lauralanerad

Just some silly Halloween trick-or-treating standup comedy. I even asked them to have the lighting make my face look like a dead zombie to stay on theme. 👻 by @lauralanerad

My last few weeks teaching at @skyting are coming up! I’ve decided to return to being a Ting student for now, so I can go back to having someone else tell me what to do. 🤍 I’m grateful to the one and only @krissy_jones and to all the amazing students who packed the room with joy and got weird with me. Come take one of my last few classes in NoHo before you have to trek to Brooklyn to find me! ✨ See you Friday at 8:15am until Dec. 4! Xx by @lauralanerad

A Fall Salon at Rad Studio Space 🍂 Last night, we opened our living room to the public for an intimate open rehearsal with Kaleidoscope Chamber Collective, bringing together world-renowned musicians from around the globe.

The collective is staying with us ahead of their performance at Hudson Opera House, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have them filling our home with music.

A heartfelt thank-you to these incredible artists for sharing their talents, their time, and their music with our community, and to everyone who came out. What a wonderful, beautiful, special night. by @lauralanerad

Hubs appreciation day to the most supportive, kind human I know, best dad, most talented artist and cute guy there is. Thankful every day I met you when I was 24 and you asked me out after that holiday party even though I sent you an embarrassing email right after that I thought sounded deep. Love you and the life we built by @lauralanerad

I love September! Full to the brim of joy and gratitude for this time in life: kids movie nights with the new projector, friend’s book launches, fashion shows and film premieres, arts and crafts, hanging with my little bro, wisdom from a Buddhist monk, a book club with tiny pigs, date nights, Pilates and yoga fun, sand castle art event, writing stories, and finding rainbows at the park by @lauralanerad
