My sister got married!!!

This film, as you may expect, holds a special place in our hearts. My sister, who also happens to run most of what goes on behind the scenes here at Wakefield Films got married.

Growing up as best friends, we always dreamed of what these days would look like for each other. So to not only simply be in the wedding, but to also have the opportunity to bring her film to life was the greatest honor.

for anyone who keeps thinking, “If I could just get this one thing figured out, then everything would feel right…”

life was never meant to be perfect. people won’t always get it right. plans will change. seasons will feel harder than we expected.

but we have a perfect God who meets us right in the middle of all of it.

a little reminder for my girls who are wondering if they’re doing enough, if they’re where they’re supposed to be, or if the work they’re doing even matters:

it does.

the season you’re in is not something you have to rush through to get to the “better” one. the work in front of you is worthy. the people in front of you are worthy. and God can use this exact season, this exact job, this exact place to teach you something you couldn’t learn anywhere else.

so, keep showing up. keep doing the little things with love. keep being faithful with what’s been placed in your hands.
