For me, makeup has never been just about beauty. It is color, emotion, transformation, and a way of expressing the parts of myself that words cannot always reach.

Photography gives those feelings a place to exist. Through light, shadows, textures, and movement, I can turn an emotion into something visible—something I can look back at and remember.

Creating allows me to explore different versions of myself without having to choose only one. Sometimes soft, sometimes bold, sometimes imperfect. Every look becomes a little piece of a feeling, a moment, or a story.

Maybe that is what I love most about art: it gives us the freedom to become whatever we feel, even if only for a photograph. by @lauralongo_
